Hello! Blake Johnson here, and apparently I am now the representative for all of us girls here at Duchannes. What is Duchannes you ask? Only the top boarding school here in Los Angeles, California. Well, we are a boarding school, but a different one at that. The Headmaster apparently searches out the top fine art prodigies across the globe to come here. Soon, us prodigies are taking not-so-normal classes and are living in a totally different place. They told me I need to tell you why I love this school so much, but to do that, I have to start you from the beginning… the very beginning.

*four years ago, my freshman year of high school*

“You are going to do just fine, pookie.” James wrapped his arms around me. This was our final hug goodbye.

“James, I told you not the call me that!”My big brother laughed and kissed my forehead. “I-I’m scared.”

“Don’t worry, they are going to love you.”

“Yeah just like my other school did.” I

said sarcastically.

“Your other school was missing out. You need to go. We will see you on holidays, okay?”
“...Deal.” I backed away and waved to my parents. I slowly climbed into the black stretch limousine that was carrying me away from my home. I didn’t take my eyes off my family until the door was closed. Even then, I was hesitant. A girl was sprawled across the seats and two boys were awkwardly sitting side-by-side across from her. She smirked.
“Finally! A girl that didn’t leave crying!” She sat up, and her bangs popped messily into place across her forehead. “I’m Serena by the way.”
“Blake.” I whispered shyly. I wasn’t really one for people.
“I like it. Edgy. Cool. Mysterious. Stick with me and we are gonna show this school up.” She laughed and waved to the two silent boys.
“Ok.”
“Not one for words are you?” I shook my head. “You’ll get over it. You are sticking with me, kid.” Little did I know that I had just made my best friend for life at that moment.
