Dear Diary,

What to talk about today? Sure, a lot of things have been bothering me lately, but it is kind of hard to feel bad when I am listening to such great music. I'll post a link to by playlist in the comments for anyone that's interested.

Since I am a school girl, I guess it makes sense to talk about school. I am growing closer to one of my friends which is just amazing. I love her energy because when I am feeling terrible, and I am tired, she always gets me laughing. It reminds me of one of the quotes from a TV show. Basically there's this dude who takes a pill and is super smart and energetic, and he accuses his partner of being addicted to the high just like he is. Obviously, neither of us are on drugs, and it's a more mutual than that, but I think it applies here. (BTW the show is Limitless - you should check it out.)

I guess, also, I am kind of afraid to leave them, especially her. It's just... they've always been a part of my life, and I can't quite imagine life without these girls that have, for the better and for worse, shaped me into who I am today. Weird.

Online, I am writing a new story that is inspired by the emotions I felt while listening to Electric Love by Borns. It's called Lightning in a Bottle, and I'd love it if you guys could check it out. Sure, it has romantic aspects, but I don't think that's what it's about, per say.

You know, sometimes is can be easy to hate being a teenager. I mean you got the hormones, the crushes, the growing pains, and the emotions of just... everything. However, it's those very emotions that make is so amazing. Teenage brains are much more prone to emotionally charged experiences. For me, that's been music. I've feel in love with music and my love for these songs is stronger than the other pains or the other highs. I love that they make me think. Songs have such profound effects. They cure my headaches, dry my tears, and calm my ticks.

Well, I guess that's all I wanted to talk about today. I might check back in later, but...

I wish you a great day!
