Dear Diary,

I wish I could come up with a good story idea.

Part of me says, "if you only had mreo time, like you did in the summer, you'd be able to write stories like you did back then!" while the other insists that, "you're just too lazy"

Whenever, I get the chance, however, I just sit and think. I think of a million different plot lines, characters, and scenes, but I can never finish them. I just makes you feel kind of worthless, you know? When you say you're a writer, but haven't written much of anything since... the summer, your self esteem takes a major hit.

Whenever, I try to write about things out of experience, things go south. I have trouble writing  about people I'm... not... like a guy in his twenties or a mother, and it's infuriating. I develop these characters, btu all they do is fade away. It feels like others just don't have that problem. Look at the kinda successful things I've written: The Blackmail Project and When War Approaches. Both of them are written from the perspective of female teenagers.

I guess if writing was easy, everyone would do it - right?

I guess it's time to go do some fruitless thinking, think about what the hell I can write that won't fizzle out after 5,000 words.

- Lav
