Dear Diary,

I have returned! I have kind of given up on A) winning the competition and B) doing this on a daily base, so sorry for the updates (or lack there of)

I have started the confirmation process in church, and I have nothing against religion, but I would define myself more as agnostic rather than Christian. However, when I try to explain this to run-of-the-mill people, they say "You're atheist?" or, at my Christian summer camp, "I'll pray for you". Long story short, I'm confirming that I'm Christian... when I'm not Christian. I mean, I know what to say.

Book/Mentor: "What do you think about creation?"

Me: "I think it is very comforting that God created me before I was even born, before I was known by anyone but Him. I am also so amazed that God created all of the universe in a week, including me."

Book/Mentor: "Do you have any questions about Hell?"

Me: "Naw" (but on the inside I'm like: what if someone had you murder someone, and if you didn't, they would kill your family. Would you go to Hell? What if you did the right things with the wrong intentions? What if no one ever told you about Christ? Do you go to Hell then? Does that mean billions of people are suffering in Hell?)

Anyway, I kinda feel like I am constantly faking it, but I'll do it to make my dad happy.

Moving on to school, I am enjoying it. I am doing a song-analysis on "Queens" by MisterWives, we're learning about forensics in science, I'm going to perform my scene in drama tomorrow, and government is boring as always.

Oh, sometime soon, our entire school is going to Washington DC, the US capital for my British readers... mostly Sam. We're visiting the holocaust museum and lots of other cool things.
