Do we gaze at the stars because we are human or do the stars gaze at us because we are human? The answer is: no one knows. No one knows what will happen tomorrow, today, or even in an hour. It is a mystery and always baffled man. That is why he has looked to the stars. There are ever constant, never changing, and always there for us. So do we gaze at them because we are human and need answers or for the future?

Young Logan Lightlorn had no idea the dangers he would face. The stars would guide him in times of danger, they would relieve him of fear and in turn he would grow to love them, he would use for advice and show his friends the way the stars showed him. The stars, it always came back to the stars. All the stories and legends always came back to the Stars. The Stars were a source of comfort, power and life to everyone who gazed upon their beauty. They spoke to the few chosen ones and these chosen ones would repeat what they were told.

As time went on the inhabitants of the earth forgot that the Stars were the ones the showed them the way. They ignored the Stars and went their own ways, they forgot the way the Stars have them names, hope and life.

The life of species dwindled and eventually the unbelievers dominated in numbers and their offspring swelled in proportion.

Logan Lightlorn was born to two of the most ordinary of their kind. Logan, however, was different. He was special and the Stars knew it. They knew that he would grow up to do big things, things bigger than him, or his family, or anything else. He had the chance to save his race. All he had to do was listen to the Stars. But listening is easy and acting on the instructions the Stars would give could cost lives.

The Stars had an enemy, an enemy almost as powerful as them and just and charismatic. The Earth. Earth was strong and many years ago the Stars and the Earth fought. The world was thrown into chaos and elements made alliances and fought on each side. Fire, Water, Air and Earth's children fought against their parents on different sides. Air and Fire knew their mother, the Stars, would always see the best in every species and love them all the same.

Earth's children were closely connected with their father and water joined together and fought against their mother.

The world suffered eternal darkness until Earth and the Stars found an equal ground. They worked together and restored the balance of peace to the world. Nothing would be the same again and a treaty was drawn in the stars and on the earth. Their essence was split up and so they were sedated until the Grand Prophecy came to pass.

"In the final twist, when leaves are in the age of turning wind,

Out of a single act of kindness, the never romance will bloom,

The final heir of Earth and Star will never rest,

The banishment in a field of wheat will become a full circle."

A chance to make the world anew would come to turn and the people would celebrate. But first the Stars would let them stray and cause hate and violence. It would hurt, but she had to let her children flourish and grow. In a few hundred years she would plant the seeds of a nee child, a wonder child, he would be called Logan. The child would lead them into a new life. A life free of pain and guilt.

It all rode on the promise Earth made when they finally found their equal ground.

His promise to always love her and never turn against her.
