     Asriel stood above me. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and sat up against the headboard of the little bed.

     "Yeah Asriel?"

     He scotched his way into the bed beside me, gently pushing me over toward the wall.

     "What happened to them"

     "Who?"

     He paused, almost as if he didn't think he should answer

     "Your family"

"Go back to sleep Asriel"
