Tale Weaver's Top Tens: Henchmen

Behind every great villain, or rather in front of them, are the henchmen. While the villain of the show laughs manically, they do half if not all the work, and when a hero needs to get to the villain, then they get mamed, or killed to protect their boss. Be it a right hand man or an expendable minion, with an good personality or just straight up iconic. They don't seem to get as much attention as their evil masters, so today I'm going to countdown the best of the 99% that help make all evil plans possible.

The Ginyu Force

(Dragon Ball Z)

    Starting off this list are the Ambiguously Gay Ginyu Force under the command of the Lord Frieza. There to make all your recent power ups pointless, the Ginyu Force were the most powerful soldiers in Frieza's army. They were able to give Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, and even Goku a run for their money, making Frieza's personal fuck buddies, uh I mean, body guards complete pushovers compare to the Ginyu force.

    Aside from their power, there's something I like about the Ginyu force that makes them the more memorable henchmen in Dragon Ball. I do like the design for each of them, for starters, along with the idea around these guys. The way they act, or better yet, dance, is a mockery of shows like the Power Rangers and other Japanese Super Sentai heroes. They even play Rock Paper Scissors to decide who fights who, and love their aerobics as much as fighting. In an ironic way, these people would be good guys if they weren't so ruthless and sadistic. It's like the Gaston Effect: someone who would usually be a hero is a villain.

     In true Toriyama fashion, each member is named after a food. In this case, they're named after dairy products:

Ginyu=Dairy (Japanese)

Recoome=Cream (Japanese)

Guldo=??? I don't know what the hell Guldo means
