"What's wrong? What's happening?"
"Just some complications."
Beth and Harry? Great match. But things are complicated. And how are you supposed to fight complications when they have been part of your relationship from the start?

12. 12

[Harry's P.O.V]
I looked down at my phone, agitatedly waiting for it to buzz, telling me I had a text from Beth. I had asked her to go out with me again and I really hoped she would say yes. We hadn't gone out for about two weeks now.
Suddenly it vibrated and I dropped it out of sheer excitement.
"Watch out ya don't break another phone," Niall called from the kitchen. He had recently started coming over more and more and at the moment his favourite place to be was beside the fridge.
I picked up my phone hastily to look at the screen.
"From Beth <3: 'That sounds really good I'll see you at seven then x'"
"She said yes!" I yelled happily. I honestly felt like every second I spent with her was something to treasure. And now I got to spend more time with her.
Niall cheered halfheartedly from the kitchen.
"Eh sorry for leaving you tonight mate, but I have a good feeling about her. I think she's the one to be honest," I apologized.
"It's fine. You have FIFA and stuff to make sandwiches. I'm good," Niall mumbled through a big mouthful of bread.
"Alright, I'm going to get ready, I've got about an hour until I have to leave," I announced, patting him on the shoulder and going to my room.
I opened my wardrobe, gazing at its contents in concentration. I frowned slightly as I wondered what to wear. I mean I wanted to look good for Beth but I didn't want to look as if I was going for tea with the Queen.
I took out some black skinny jeans. That was always a good place to start and black was a nice colour. I then skimmed through my shirts, finally letting my hand rest on a white T-shirt. I could just go for basic.
"Simple but effective," I mumbled under my breath.
Feeling happy with my decision I then placed the clothes on my bed and proceeded to the bathroom for a shower.
After pulling off my clothes, I stepped in and turned on the water, shivering at the coldness at the beginning but then relaxing as the steam warmed up. I stood there for a minute with my hair hanging down around my face. I still got nervous about taking Beth out and I needed a moment to calm down.
Ten minutes later I was washed and clean and I stepped out to dry myself off.
Finally I could go and pull on my outfit for the evening. It took a bit of time with the jeans, but in the end I was done and technically ready to go. I glanced at myself in the mirror. I didn't look bad at all.

[Beth's P.O.V.]
I turned off my phone excitedly and quickly made my way to my wardrobe. I had to find something to wear this evening and I didn't want to be too rushed. I still had about ninety minutes until Harry was here.
Sighing, I frowned as I took out different pieces of clothing and put them in again. Harry had told me not to wear a dress.
"Okay, wait," I muttered as I stopped and looked out. It was nice and warm outside, so I could wear some shorts. Turning back, I caught sight of some nice, basic denim shorts. If I wore them I could match them together with a white vest top and a thin grey cardigan for if it got chilly.
Feeling satisfied I put the clothes on a chair and rushed out to shower.
Fifteen minutes later I was back putting the stuff on and brushing my hair. I still had  about an hour so I decided to turn on my phone to see if Karime, Fawz or Laura happened to be online. They had left a few weeks ago and I missed them, but I was grateful that we had even gotten the chance to meet.
bc.drawings: Anyone on?
I waited for someone to answer and to my delight someone did.
__x_onedirection_x__: YAAAA
I smiled and started talking with her, telling her about the upcoming date with Harry. She was about as excited as I was, telling me that she thought we were perfect together. I hoped she was right.
Later on Karime and Fawz popped up too and joined in the conversation. But when forty five minutes had passed I said goodbye to the girls and pocketed my phone.
When I was downstairs I put on my shoes so I was ready to leave at a moments notice. I checked the time and saw that there were still five minutes to go so I sat down and wondered where Harry was taking me tonight.
Suddenly the doorbell rung and I jumped, startled by the noise. Grinning, I picked up my cardigan, rushed to the door and opened it.
"Good evening, love," Harry smiled, showing off his dimples.
"Hi," I beamed back and blushed as he leaned in to kiss me on the cheek.
"Shall we?" he then said, putting his hand out for me to hold on to.
I yelled a goodbye behind my back, closed the door and took his hand, smiling when he immediately entwined out fingers.
"Where are we going?" I asked curiously.
"That's a surprise," he smirked with a satisfied air. I scowled and gave him a little shove.
"Come on, tell me. Please?" I pouted, looking at him pleadingly.
"No," he said, smiling even wider and shaking his head.
I stuck out my lower lip like a young child. I was really excited and I really wanted to know now.
The rest of the walk consisted of me begging him to tell me where we were going and him literally bursting with satisfaction at my need to know.
Suddenly he stopped and I looked around, only then realizing that I hadn't even been paying attention to where we were going.
We were at the beginning of a park, somewhere I had never been before. I could see a few fields and the sun casting its golden light upon the whole scene. I didn't know where this was but it was beautiful.
"Here, let me put this on you," Harry said, interrupting my thoughts. He was holding a blindfold in his large hands, smirking again.
"Alright," I agreed, still feeling curious about the whole situation. He lifted the piece of cloth to my eyes and I turned around so he could knot it at the back of my head.
"Right, just hold my arm and I'll lead you further. Just trust me, I won't let you fall," I heard his voice say on the right. I put out a hand and waved it around, trying to find his arm. Then his hand found mine and I wrapped my arm securely around his.
We walked for a few minutes, going rather slow since the ground wasn't very even. I could imagine how we looked, a tall boy leading a tottering girl over what I decided had to be a field.
But I could feel my excitement mount and I smiled as we stumbled on.
Finally he stopped me and I waited patiently as he removed the piece of cloth covering my eyes.
I gasped at what I saw next.
We were on the top of a hill, looking down on a gorgeous view. The sun was sinking lower and lower by the minute, flooding the landscape with an orangey glow.
"Join me?" a voice from behind me asked.
I turned around to see Harry sitting on a picnic blanket, opening a basket. He pulled out sandwiches and drinks and put cushions on the blanket to make it more comfortable.
I sat down next to him and he gave me a plastic plate. I smiled and accepted the sandwich he handed me.
We say in silence for a few minutes, enjoying the view and the first bites of our food.
"Do you like it?" he then asked, a hint of worry in his voice.
"It's beautiful. I love it," I whispered, looking at him, trying to show him how much I appreciated it.
He smiled and went back to his sandwich.
"Good," he mumbled.

Ayy it looks like I have 640 views! Thanks for that :)

Anyway I just realised these chapters are rather short, sorry about that x
