The back Ford pulled into the car park and Greg got out and opened the door for Ruth then came around and let Mollie out.

She ran to the door and waited until her father opened it then ran inside the hall and straight over to where the other children were playing.

Ruth introduced Greg to Lynn then went to get Coffee and a glass of orange for Mollie.

“It’s nice to see you here Doctor Adams.”

Please; it’s Greg when I’m not working.”

“Ruth is a lovely girl don’t you think Greg?

“Yes; Mollie likes her too.

“Well there’s a bonus, she is very beautiful too; I’m surprised some man hasn’t snapped her up by now.

“I know.”

“I wouldn’t wait around too long then Greg or you may lose her.”

Ruth returned with the coffees and placed them on the table.

“How have you been then Lynn?

“Same old same’ said Lynn with a smile.”

“You ought to get out more Lynn.”

 “I’m married to my job.”

“What about you, do you get out much?

“We went out last night Lynn it was just over the road to Greg’s Local for a meal.

“That was nice; just the two of you?

“No we took Mollie with us.”

“Oh I see; did you enjoy yourselves then?

“It was a good night apart from the food which was abysmal.

“I have promised to atone for that.

“Well if you ever need a baby sitter then just give me a call.”

“I may take you up on that Lynn.”

“No time like the present Greg.”

“It is not up to me, Ruth may have plans.”

“No, I do not have plans.”

“Right then; what about tonight Lynn has kindly offered to look after Mollie.

“Alright; but can I choose the restaurant?

“Be my guest; but I am paying.”

“Right then off you go and I will look after Mollie.”

“I will go and tell her that we will be back soon said Ruth.”

“Thank you Lynn, I am in your debt.”

 “Well we do take donations.”

“Greg gave her ten pounds.”

“Very generous of you Greg; Thanks.”
