“I am sorry Billy; I am a selfish man but I would like to make it up to you Alan and John; if you will let me.”

I have come to St James Park and stood in “The Leases End to watch you play at every home game. I am very proud of you son. I have never been a man to show my emotions because my father never showed me any but I love you and your brothers very much all the same.

“Maybe we can all go for a pint after the game?
