3. Flanders Fields

In Flanders Fields,

Where the poppies blow like a field of blood,

Which it is, a field of blood.

In Flanders Fields,

Where the ghosts of dead men wail,

And the wives of dead men cry.

In Flanders Fields,

100 years ago men gave their lives,

In the ‘great’ – maybe not-so-great – war.

In Flanders Fields,

100 years ago, the poppies have not grown,

in no-mans land, Flanders Fields.

In Flanders Fields,

Where the poppies blow like a field of blood,

Which it is, a field of blood.
