A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (and hopefully beyond).
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

108. Why?! Maybe that is just a little bit dramatic. Sorry.

How come American authors only travel to London in the UK? Yes I know that London is a huge city with lots of people who are eager for the tour just as much as I am. But c’mon please visit other, and read closer, destinations. I really don’t have the money to ride a three hour train to London just for that, even if I want to.

Where does this somewhat rant come from? The announcement that one of my favourite authors (Maggie Stiefvater) is only visiting London, and Manchester in the UK (neither of which I can go to even with all of my dedication) for the tour of her new book.

That irks me just a little bit.

I would love to see more authors and ask the plenty of questions that plague my mind when it comes to writing. Even a bit of advice is uplifting for my confidence when it comes to writing.

Am I asking too much?

I could be, plane journeys from America might just be a bit on the big side.

On the other hand, I got contacts today. Let me tell you that it was a weird feeling having thin pieces of glass suctioned onto your eyes for at least eight hours a day. It feels strange seeing your glasses in front of you when they’re almost always on your head usually. Getting them in and out in the weirdest thing about it, having to pinch them to get them out and don’t blink long enough to get them in.

I’ll get there. Eventually.

The best advice I ever got for them is absolutely don’t give up.

And that’s what I am going to do.
