A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (and hopefully beyond).
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

101. The disturbing event of the dentures in the day time.

Sunday 21st February 2016

The Denture and Balloon incident. Separate incidents on separate days that are equally noteworthy and mentally scarring in some bizarre way.

The Denture incident refers to a day where I was in town with my Grandma and sister. We were charity shopping as usual to pick up deals (more often or not on books because five books for one pound is more than enough to feed my habit).

Then I stepped on someone’s dentures.

Not on their face or anything but they were just lying there, rather innocently, on the pavement. And I stepped on them. God. I didn’t break them thank heavens because those can be expensive. But the memory will have a rather long shelf life if you ask me.

Moving on rather hastily.

The Balloon incident is a more recent event as it was only yesterday, even if I wish it to be longer. My four year old cousin’s birthday party was where it occurred. The sweet little thing (although a little monster in disguise) was overjoyed with her disco, bouncy castle and cotton candy maker but it’ll do nothing to mask the scars of that day. Twenty screaming, balloon popping four year olds running around gave me quite the head ache. And more remarkably my seven year old cousin, sister to the birthday girl, came up to me with a balloon in hand and said quite disturbingly:

“This is your head.”

And then popped the balloon with her bare hands.

Yeah, I’m staying away from her for a while, for my own sanity and health.

At the end the birthday girl addressed the crowd and thanked them and then smashed a piece of chocolate cake in some girls face. Yep, I needed a nap after that.
