A Universe Trapped in a Labyrinth

This is my boring and interesting and teenager life spanning from age 15 to 18 (and hopefully beyond).
Within you'll find many re-inventions of myself, boy trouble, school trouble and life trouble. (Plus interesting bits I thought I would include as well).
Do you dare to enter the maze?

20. A day in the life of my dog.

Subject: A day in the life of my dog

It is common knowledge that I love dogs. I generally love them because A) Dogs really don’t care if you're a five-star culinary chef, or if you can barely open a can of soup. Nope. They love you because you’re you. B) When you’re feeling down and thinking no one loves you, you always have a snuggle partner to make you feel better, dogs love to curl up and be by your side. And C) Even if you’ve been so busy that you haven’t had the time to give your dog the attention they deserve, they are madly waiting for you to come home. They doesn’t care if you have a zit, got fired, dumped, or made a really bad fashion choice that day. All they want is you. They love you unconditionally. And that, my friends, is the ultimate reason why you should love dogs and why I love dogs.

I have a Staffie called Bonnie who is nine years old and the runt and only survivor of her litter. There were so many of her siblings that she wasn’t getting fed as a puppy and so at the tender age of 4 weeks old we took her home, and gave her the love she deserved even if it meant sleeping in the crook of my mother’s neck.

Here she is:

And this is her normal (although it can fluctuate) day and routine:

3:00 am – Had to go pee and explore the back garden! My favourite thing!

3:15 am – Had to scratch! My favourite thing!

3:30 am – Got snuggles from my smallest owner! My favourite thing!

6:00 am – Switched beds, had to keep mom warm from dad’s departure to work! My favourite thing!

7:00 am – Got treats off of mom and a pet! My favourite things!

8:00 am – Dog food! My favourite thing! Especially when it’s on the floor!
9:30 am – A car ride! My least favourite thing!
9:40 am – A walk in the park and my daft hour! My favourite thing!
10:30 am – Got rubbed and petted! My favourite thing!
12:00 pm – Lunch! My favourite thing!
1:00 pm – Played in the yard! My favourite thing!
3:00 pm – Wagged my tail! My favourite thing!
5:00 pm – Pigs ear! My favourite thing!
7:00 pm – Got to play ball! My favourite thing!

7:30 pm – Took my tablets! Not my favourite thing!
8:00 pm – Wow! Watched TV with the family! My favourite thing!
11:00 pm – Sleeping on the bed! My favourite thing!

12:00 am – Sleeping under the covers with the family! My favourite thing!

The thing is with my dog, she is allergic to literally everything in the air (any particle you can think of or name she is allergic to) so she takes tablets. Despite that she breaks out in loads of dark patches and spots from itching and scratching, which is just her reaction to the particles. It can get annoying sometimes but we love her. Bonnie is also very fond of sleeping in the best positions – she is like a hot water bottle. She likes to sleep on your pillow or the one next to you, in the crook of your legs, or right next to you either in front or behind.

She is cute and lovable and I wouldn’t change her for the world.
