Dear Joe

Hello Joe,
I'm writing to you again. At least that's what my therapist told me to do. He said, "Talk to the person you are having negative feelings towards." He meant write it down in a stupid journal. My parents told me I had to, but I don't want to. So here I am, writing, but for what? You won't know what the hell I'm feeling or saying to you. You were my best friend. Where are you now?

1. Introduction

Hello new readers. Welcome to "Dear Joe." no it will not be anything like "Dear John" the movie. This story will take you on an adventure in Maxine's life. It may jump around places, but that's just how I write. I intend to finish this story all the way through. So don't worry I'm not going to end it in the middle. Maxine at the start of the book is 17 turning 18 very soon. There are some mysteries in her life that you will find out if you stick around to read it. Maxine is the girl in the picture, but not present day. The picture is a flashback to a very important memory of hers that she carries with her all the time. Again, you will find out once you start reading. Her flashbacks go as far back to when she was thirteen, but not too often. She is very unique and different for her age. She's not your typical damsel in distress, she learns to be independent as the story goes on. You will meet some assholes and some decent people while reading through her life. The POV switches back and forth between characters, but not all the time. This font is used when she is writing in her diary or is in a flashback.    Just so you don't get confused.

I hope you enjoy this story as much as I will writing it.

Any questions or remarks leave them down in the comments.

                                     Enjoy.
