Some Science Everybody Should Know

Ok I know no one will want to read this, but I'm going to put it out there anyway.
Ever wanted to know how a rainbow works?
Ever wondered what came first, the chicken or the egg?
Ever wanted to understand evolution, but not been bothered?
This Movella aims to answer these questions, and more, in a way that is easy to understand, and hopefully not too boring!

1. Introduction

I'm not afraid to admit it. I love science. Not in a nerdy way. I hate all the boring stuff, like plants and breathing and all that (I mean, of course breathing is important, but who cares what a trachea is??). In fact, I pretty much hate all of the science we learn in school. I think the science I love is the stuff I'm finding out myself. The stuff I want to know! I like finding out how things work.

When I was little, I always wanted to know things. All little kids love asking questions, don't they?

Why is the sky blue?

Why do rainbows happen?

When I got older, I learnt the answers to these questions. And what's more, I understood them! It is such an amazing feeling, knowing something that you've wanted to understand for ages.

Recently, I've noticed how many people my age don't know things like this.

What do you think came first, the chicken or the egg? Do you know the answer for sure?

I do. And every time someone says the other one, I want to tell them.

Don't worry, I'm not calling these people stupid. I didn't know myself until a few years ago.

But that's why I'm writing this Movella.

This is my chance to tell you.
