Chic Happens

This is my online diary. Decided to move from an inner monologue to the internet, at the suggestion of a diary competition. I'll update whenever I can, although I can't promise that anything interesting will have happened. Wish me luck.

Funfact: The stereotypical blue colour for boys, and pink for girls used to be the other way around before the 1940s.

Funfact: During the war, Hitler placed pink triangles on the gays, and since then, pink has been seen more effeminate.

Funfact: Because of Hitler.

It's been two weeks. Huh.

Well, I kept thinking about writing, but I noticed that I'm going no where with this. Keeping a diary bores me quite a bit, and considering nothing is happening, I don't have a reason to write it.

Anyway, the lame things that have happened are as follows:

- I finished a 60,000 word fan fiction of The 100.

- I have done literally nothing else.

Seriously, I have barely even left my room. Sure, I went to Josh's house a week or two back and played Risk. We had a sleepover there as well. Sam and Aimee tagged along, but within two hours of starting, Sam blew up.

He got really angry really fast, and I never even found out why. But I think it could have been because Aimee took my side in an argument or tactic in the game. I don't know though. Either way, it was a game - nothing to get so stressed about.

He stormed out after that, banging through the house and slamming the door. Josh, Aimee and I were left in silence, not knowing what to do. I mean, what do you do?

Josh got him  on the phone and Sam came back to collect his things. He and Aimee were sharing a sleeping bag and pillows, and so he took all of the stuff she was going to use to sleep in, and left with it. Josh followed him out, and while I had a quiet conversation with Aimee, trying to make jokes or lighten the mood, the boys talked outside.

It was really hushed and quiet. Ten minutes later, Josh emerged again, saying that Sam wanted to talk to Aimee. The couple left and went downstairs to Josh's bedroom. They were in there for a good half an hour.

Josh and I sat in mainly silence. First in the dining room, then the kitchen, then the conservatory. We tried to make conversation but there was an elephant in the room, and we couldn't ignore it anymore. Eventually, he went an crept through the darkened living room, where he lied down on the sofa. He was waiting to see if he could hear their muffled talking.

A few minutes later I joined him and we sat quietly until Josh went to see if they were okay.

The rest of the night we ignored the tension. Sam and Aimee made up but we didn't continue the game of Risk. We watched a few films and ordered pizza and pretended it never happened. At two AM we played Cards Against Humanity online, with a highly offensive username, chosen by Josh.

The next day we played Monopoly for four hours.

I still don't know what the fight was really about.

But I know that Sam gets into a mood every time we play Risk.

That's all that's happened really. I might update again soon about the canoeing trip I'm going on tonight. Then again, I might not.
