1. The Wedding Of James And Lily Potter.

"Hey, Honey?" James asked his wife.

"Mmm?" She replied sleepily. At six months pregnant, Lily Potter was needing a lot more rest than she had been expecting.

"Do you remember our wedding?"

"Our wed- wait what?"

"Do you remember the day you married me? You kow, when I gave you that special ring and you gave me one and then after the occasion we-" He trailed of when Lily smacked his shoulder.

"Lily..." He whined. "That's abuse!"

"Well, we'll see who you think is getting abused when I give birth to your son," Lily retorted.

"I, um. Wait, it's a SON?"

"Yes, you idiot. I told you this afternoon after I had my ultrasound! You came home from work and I broke the news to you."

"Sorry Lily, I have the shortest term memory ever," James apologized.

"No you don't, James."

"I think you'll find I do, Evans."

"It's Potter." Lily scowled.

"See? Short term memory." James pointed out smugly.

"Our wedding was over a year ago." Lily said, just as smug.

"Do you remember it though?"

"What? I don't understand James."

"Do you remember our wedding?" James asked innocently.

"Of course, you prat. I'll always remember that day. It was the day I knew and realized just exactly how much I love you." She replied, smiling. She would always remember seeing James looking heart breakingly handsome as she walked down the aisle, smiling brightly.

"Always the sentimental type, Flower." James smirked.

"I am not."

"You damn well are."

"Not."

"Are."

"Not."

"You've always been sentimental, Lils. I've learnt to accept it, so should you," James laughed.

Lily narrowed her eyes. She didn't know that inside James was softening as he remembered watching her float down the aisle, red curls cascading down her back, white dress glistening in the summer sun.

"Thought you had a short term memory."

Now it was Lily's turn to laugh. And she kept laughing. They could both easily recall (even with James' "short term memory") the way Lily's contagious laughter had spread and caught every guest at their wedding. It had been a jolly, blissful affair.

"Always the winner of the arguments, Flower."

Flower had been James' nickname for his wife since they became boyfriend and girlfriend. It had started to be used more frequently after they got married.

He couldn't live without her. He loved her with his heart and soul. His parents had loved her. Everyone loved Lily Potter, nee Evans.  And so did he. The moment he saw her, he knew he had to have her. Just had to. He felt like he couldn't breathe if she wasn't there with him. On their wedding day the way she had held his hand proved to him she felt the same.

"I can't argue with that," He heard her say, and a dazed look appeared on his face.

"James. James? Are you ok?" She asked.

"Now that I have you," He replied, and leaned in to kiss her. She met him in the middle.
