A poem about being a slave of your illusions, looking for happiness outside yourself, waking op and having the courage to walk another path.

1. Kathmandu

I was standing at a tall wall

In the heart of Kathmandu

I was wondering I recall

How to find my way to you

No signs from you in India

Should I stop thinking of you

And maybe seek for nirvana

In the temples of Kathmandu

Climbing the Himalayas of my mind

I’m not sure what to find

Trekking in the heights of my soul

Without a goal

I’ve lost control

In front of a Buddhist temple

A little monk came to me

His smile was warm and cheerful

That was my answer, I believe
