Wednesday in October

A poem about feeling eternity suddenly in everyday life and have a break. To notice that everything in the universe is linked and that our lives are woven into time, surroundings and all other life.

1. Wednesday in October

As I catch the moment eternity is born

On a Wednesday in October

My day has been like a sandstorm

But now I’m getting sober

As I hear the blackbird eternity is born

On a Wednesday in October

My life is ready to transform

I guess I’m getting bolder

Time unfolds her wings

And eternity sings:

You don’t need any strings

We are each other’s wings

Just be friendly to the winds

That’s what eternity sings

As I watch the children eternity is born

On a Wednesday in October

My heart is sunny and newborn

I don’t mind getting older
