Dylan felt warm, too warm. She tried to sit up but felt an arm around her waist, a heavy one, holding her down.
She looked to the side to find Luke's face against the pillow, lips parted, a little drool falling down his chin.
All memories from last night came back, hence, the reason she was naked, with only the duvet covering her.
To avoid any embarrassment, she decided to put on some clothes. Either one of the three boys could come in any time.
Dylan carefully moved Luke's arm, not wanting to wake him up. She stood up and went over to her bag in the corner, taking out underwear, some shorts and a vest top. Since no one was around and Luke was asleep, she dressed right there.
When she was done she figured she could go to make some breakfast. Dylan turned and almost had a heart attack.
"How long have you been there?!" She asked Luke, who was smiling like and idiot.
"I've been here since yesterday, remember?" He smirked at her.
"How long have you been awake, you idiot." She rolled her eyes and went to sit on the bed.
"Since you left the bed to get dressed. I had a nice view for a while . . ." Luke was such and idiot sometimes,
"So funny, Luke." She smiled.
"You still like me . . ." He answered and kissed her.
"Yeah, sure I do. Now, bring me some breakfast."
"I'm kind of naked under the duvet. Bring me some clothes first."
Dylan stood up and picked up the boxers that were on the floor beside the bed and handed them to him.
"Hurry up, i'm hungry." Dylan was getting impatient, Luke is taking too long.
"So bossy, why weren't you like that last night?" Luke is on the verge of getting punched really hard.
"Luke! You can't just say things like that!" Dylan did punch him really hard.
"Ow! What kind of girlfriend hits their boyfriend?" He jutted out his bottom lip.
"The kind that has a pervert one." She smirked at him and stood up.
Luke followed her, in the way out he grabbed the box with the ring on it.
No, he's not going to marry her.
"I've got something else for you." He smiled at her.
"The necklace was beautiful and last night was perfect Luke, I don't need anything else." She was telling the truth.
"I want to give you something else," He handed her the little black box.
"Luke it's beautiful," he stood up on her toes to kiss him, "thank you."
"it's kind of like a promise ring, if you want to look at it that way." He smiled. Even if he has only known her for about six months, he knows she's the one. No other girl has ever make him feel the way he feels with Dylan.
"I love it! it's so pretty." Dylan kept admiring her ring, it glittered with the light and it fit perfectly on her finger.
"Now, c'mon. Let's go get breakfast." Luke grabbed her hand and let her out of the room and into the kitchen of the suite.
"Good morning!" The three boys said.
"Morning." Dylan sat next to Michael while Luke got both of them something to eat.
"Wow, someone's got some new jewels." Calum said, eyeing the shiny ring on Dylan's finger.
"Oh My God! Did he propose to you?!" Ashton exclaimed, making Calum and Michael's eyes widen.
"WHAT?!" They both exclaimed at the same time.
"No, no, no! He didn't propose guys! Chill." Dylan laughed at them, always jumping to conclusions. "It's part of my birthday present, along with the necklace." She showed them the tiger pendant necklace.
"Oh, thank you God." Michael said.
Luke had set a plate with bacon, scrambled eggs and some toast in front of Dylan. He sat down next to her with his own plate.
"Thanks." She said and started eating.
"Where are we going next?"Ashton asked no one in particular.
"Can't we stay here?"
"I think it's time we head back home, princess." Ashton told Dylan.
"Fine, when are we leaving." A sad look was on her face. she didn't want to go, she wanted to stay here, she wanted this to last forever.
"Day after tomorrow." Calum said instantly, no thinking, hesitation, anything.
"You already had this planned didn't you?" Dylan asked him. The boys had this habit of planning things without her knowing.
"Yeah, sorry babe."
"Doesn't matter, can we go to the beach later, please?" She pleaded.
"Sure we can, last day on the beach so enjoy it."
"C'mon, princess. I swear to God I won't let you go." Ashton was trying to get Dylan into the ocean. The others were playing a game of soccer with the same group they met yesterday.
"I swear. If I let you go, you can bruise my arm again." He laughed.
"Fine . . " Dylan took his hand tightly and let Ashton bring her into the water.
The water was up to their waist, the waves crashing against their bodies. Ashton kept pulling Dylan more into the ocean. She didn't want to. Dylan pulled on Ashton's hand making him stop.
"Here, I don't want to go far." She said to him.
"Okay, okay. We can stay here, don't worry." He said when he saw Dylan's face of distress.
They stayed in for while. Ashton never letting go of her hand. It went dark again, the sky filling with shades of beautiful colors. Ashton decided it was time t get out of the water, he could see the slight shivers that were racking Dylan's body.
"C'mon, princess. Time to get out, you're getting cold." Dylan only nodded.
"Hi, had fun?" Luke took Dylan from Ashton, he wrapped the black towel he had brought for her around her shoulder.
"I did. I want to go back to the hotel though, it's really cold."
"Let's go then."
"Calum! Are you guys coming down tomorrow?" A guy came up to them, you could see his group of friends behind him.
They were all looking at Dylan.
"Yeah, sure. Same time?" Calum asked this guy.
"Yeah, same." he noticed Dylan standing next to Luke, her head on his chest. "Who's this pretty lady?" He came closer to her, which made Luke stand in front of her, almost towering over the guy.
"She's Luke's girlfriend, so back off Tanner." Michael told him.
"Hmmm . . . Okay, see you tomorrow guys." The smirk plastered on his face wasn't a good sign. "Hope to see you again pretty girl." He went back to his friends.
"I don't like him." Dylan said. "He has this bad vibe going on." Luke had her in his arms in seconds.
"Should we bring her tomorrow?" Ashton asked Michael and Calum.
"I don't know, let's just have both of them stay in the hotel room." Michael said, "Tanner's up to something and it involves her."
"Let's just go back." Calum said and started to walk to the hotel.
It was about eleven at night and they were exhausted, how did they manage to spend so much time in the beach? They don't know.
Tomorrow should be an interesting day.
"But why?" Dylan was acting like a little child. They boys won't let her go to the beach, afraid something's going to happen to her.
"I said no, Dylan. Don't push it." Calum told her.
"But I want to go!"
"Dylan! You're not going and that's it!" Michael was getting annoyed, Dylan didn't understand it was for her own good to stay here.
"C'mon babe, I'll stay with you." Luke hugged her from behind, he hated seeing Dylan sad. She almost never got the chance to go to the beach, and who knows how long it's going to be until she can go again.
Dylan didn't listen, she kept protesting.
"You can't decide what I can and can't do!" She was mad. She loved the boys, but sometimes it was exhausting.
"If it's for your own good then I will!" Michael screamed at her. She was so stubborn some times.
"I hate you!" She went off running to her room. She was totally mad at him.
"I'll talk to her, have fun guys." Luke said and went off in the same direction.
"Ugh, let's go guys." They grabbed their stuff and went out the door.
"Luke, I don't like you anymore."
"You love me."
"No! I don't!"
"What did I do?"
"You ate all the mini oreos, those are my favorite!" Dylan has been having many cravings the past days, which are driving Luke a little crazy.
"I'll buy you some on the way home." Luke told her. "Now . . how about we have some fun?"
I don't need to tell you what happened next.
"You had fun with Luke?" Michael asked her.
"Had fun at the beach?" She retorted.
"Ugh, still with that?"
"Yeah, this was my last chance to go to the beach in who knows how long?!" The madness was gone, now it's back.
"You know who was asking for you? Tanner, the guys from last night. If you would've gone down to the beach, who knows what he would've done! Now you understand why we didn't want you to go?!" Wow, you coul've said that earlier Michael.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I don't know."
"It's okay, babe. Love you." He kissed her and gave her a hug.
"Love you too." She said.
"Well, start packing. We are leaving first thing in the morning tomorrow."
