“WHAT?!” Agnes exclaimed when she found out I was with Benedict when I skipped classes. “Are you crazy? He should’ve killed you!”
“No, he didn’t kill me—”
“Maybe they need something more from you before killing—”
“I don’t think so he can kill people. There’s something in him… I just—”*bits her lower lip* What am I saying right now?
“Are you going to ruin the plan?” she asked calmly.
“No,” I answered.
She just sighed with relief and looked at me.
“To let you know, Benedicts brother Spencer, he’s also here. I saw him.”
“Spencer,” her eyes widened, “the first child of the Collins. He was properly taught by his father. So he was the only son who can control the wolf of him whenever the moon is full. Oh trust me, he’s a demon.”
“I think he’s the one who killed that someone we found beside the road.”
“You’ve said it. It wasn’t full moon when that happened.”
“Why didn’t you tell me before? I should have to know that I’m not only facing one werewolf.”
“I was about to.”
I just rolled my eyes and sighed. I don’t know what to say and what to think. She pulled out her phone from her pocket and read the message which just came. Soon, she looked at me with a smile.
“You know Jackie right?”
I rolled my eyes again, “the professor’s daughter.”
“She was inviting us to her party this night. It was her 18th birthday.” She grinned.
“How can we go when we do have many problems to take?” I frowned.
“Hey, we can have it still. It will be some ways to plan on killing the Collins. I am sure he will be invited by Jackie, she likes him.”
“She likes him?” I repeated and she nodded.
Alright, she won. We are going. But…I do not know anything about party. Whatever!
6 O’CLOCK pm, I was finished showering and Agnes was next. I just wore my black jeans and my favorite shirt and then a—
“Hey!” Agnes startled me, “what were you wearing? It’s a party where we are going. You should wear your best dress.”
My jaw dropped, “I—do not have any dress and I don’t want to wear one.”
Her jaw also dropped, “you’re so conservative. How did you enjoy your past years?” she mumbled. “Never mind, I brought my dresses.”
Oh somebody should stop her. I can’t wear such dress.
“Come on, try this one,” she said raising a red sparkling…dress. It doesn’t cover my shoulder and also the half of my legs. I grinned and continued putting my black leather jacket on.
“Surely, Jackie will be insulted. You wanted it anyway.”
I stopped. I don’t want to insult someone on her birthday so I immediately grabbed that dress and quickly change my clothes. Why does she always win? We’re just the same age. Am I really that stupid?
We were now exactly standing in front of the doors. It was open but I can’t enter, I don’t know why. Agnes faced me, “you need to wait for Jackie to invite you in her house. It’s how you can enter someone’s house.”
Oh really? So many things needed. Ughr… Agnes went in first and I was left alone. I will get cold! I can see her starting to talk and laugh with some people. Ah, I bit my lower lip and walked away from the party. Well, I saw they were all in dresses but I’m gonna run back my house and change my clothes. Black jeans, black shoes, pink t-shirt and my black leather jacket. I felt relief. So, I will just give Jackie a big smile to say that I am not insulting her, if I really was. So ah, again, I’m here waiting for someone to invite me in. I saw Jackie coming with a bright smile.
“What are you doing out there? Come in.”
“Oh,” thanks, “I was just a little shy, this is my first time go in a party and there are a lot more people than what I thought but, anyway,” I breathed and stepped in, cool, I’m in.
“I know that since we were juniors. Thanks to Agnes you came.”
“Thank you for inviting me Jackie, happy eighteenth birthday. More birthdays to come.” I said and she looked happier.
“Thank you Samantha. So gotta say I have to leave you in 17. I’m growing.” I just chuckled, “and I have to go now and check my boyfriend.” She whispered. “Now, don’t be shy to talk with others, go on.” Then she carefully pushed me to where there are many girls talking. She started walking away but before she could completely go, “Jackie!” I called and she looked back at me, “you really have a nice dress.” I smiled then she again smiled.
“You’ve always been so cute Sam,” she responded.
Well, she really looks hot in her dress. She was tan skinned and I love the shape of her body. I frowned, nice legs anyway. Then I started walking. Ughr…I really have to enjoy this. I like the music huh. I took a glass of wine and tried to sip it. This is not my first time on drinking some. I love the taste of it. *eyes circled then soon smiled* She really invited him and right now, he was a few paces away from me enjoying their conversation with the other guys. After a while, Jackie approached them with a smile. She and Ben, they were smiling at each other then later kissed lips to lips. Wow, that surprised me, so he was the one she was saying her boyfriend and…I think I’ll just turn my back to walk back. That’s so sweet of them. I frowned, I shouldn’t be affected. *steps forward* I suddenly felt different. Looking down on the floor, someone stepped in front of me. I saw it was wearing a black leather shoes. I raised my eyelids and saw it was…Spencer. So he also was invited.
“Hi Samantha,” he was smiling then glanced behind me. “Forgive my brother, he really love girls that’s why.”
“There’s nothing to forgive. Excuse me,” I said coldly then attempted to avoid him but he still followed me.
“What about let’s go out for a drink…I mean…the two of us, sometime and somewhere.”
I faced him, “I don’t drink with strangers.”
“Yeah I can see that but maybe I still could convince you.” She was smiling so sharp, “don’t be shy to ask me if milk is what you only drink.”
I gulped and suddenly I felt embarrassed. "Well, you won. We’ll have some drink sometime.”
“YOU can plan it,” Agnes said after I told her about when Spencer asked me for a drink as we walk back home.
“I thought you’re going to forbid me.”
“Well, at least you told me earlier. You still need some you know, thinking help.”
“Are you saying I’m that dumb?!”
“No one said that, it’s just that sometimes you’re acting like a child.”
Finally we reached home. Ughr…the witch is having fun on me!*opens the door*
I saw a lad sitting on the couch smiling at me. I frowned with my jaw dropped. I now remember him. It’s Joshua, mom’s son.
