"Sebastian said yes." Brie announced when she walked into Julian's room without knocking.
"Oh my gosh, Abbrielle, don't you know how to knock?" Julian said because she scared the crap out of him. He was playing paranormal activity on oculus rift (without the headphones because shit).
"Julian, I said Seb said yes!" Brie repeated.
"Good. Now leave me in peace, I have to sacrifice this teddy bear to satan."
"What?" Brie asked him. "Whatever but we have to talk."
"About what?" Julian continued to play.
"About our story. Like what would we tell people? How did we meet, how did we fall in love?" Brie said.
"We met back when I was 5 and you were three in London." Then he stayed silent for a moment just looking at Brie. "Tell them I fell in love with you that day when I fell off the boat in the pond and you came to rescue me even though you didn't know how to swim so I had to rescue you instead." Julian said.
"I remember that day. It was embarrassing." Brie felt a blush on her face.
Julian chuckled. "It wasn't embarrassing. You were brave." Julian said.
"You think so?" Julian nodded. "Well, okay. But what is my story?"
"I don't know. It's up to you."
Brie tried to think of a scenario. "How about I tell them that I fell in love with you when you fell off the boat then I jumped to try to save you but I ended up being the one who needed saving."
Julian stared at her with a different expression on his face. "I guess that would work." He said. "Now leave me in please. This satanic sacrifice is long overdue."
Brie smiled then stood up to hug him. "I'm glad you're my friend." She said. Then she gave him a kiss on the cheek before heading out the door.
"How denser could you be, Abbrielle?" Julian sighed then he continued playing.
