It's been so long since I last spoke to anyone who wasn't a teacher or an asshole. I wish I could somehow chat with Ana and Shannon but I'm sure they want nothing to do with me. "But, I miss them so much!" I whined. I quickly clamped my hands over my mouth, realizing that I was still in English supposed to be reading Romeo and Juliet. I have the book pretty much memorized, so I spend English doodling and watching anime with my earbuds in while everyone else is buried in books.
As if on queue the bell rang signaling the end of the day. I shoved my books into my black veil brides bag and grabbed my crutches. I was in gym the other day and we of course were playing a sport and this time it was rugby and I don't like tripping and being trampled on. Who knew a class' worth of sneakered feet was enough to shatter an ankle?
I maneuvered out of the classroom and down the hallway. “ASH!” A highly pitched voice shrieked. Of course Antoinette had spotted me before I could escape back to my hell hole of a house with my parents. I tried to get to the door before she could catch me but when your friend has two available feet and a record in track racing you know it’s no chance for you to flee.
“Hello, Antoinette.” I grumbled. A flurry of brunette hair whisked in front of me with a bright smile illuminating a pair of glistening chocolate brown eyes. “Oh, cheer up will you? Ash I haven’t seen you smile since you got back from that friend’s place.” Really, does she have to talk about this here and now? “Well, then maybe you should stop asking me about that.” I muttered struggling to hold back the tears as I briefly remembered Ashton’s miserable face when I left. “Well, I can’t do that because if I did then what kind of friend would I be?”
“Hopefully someone else’s!” I screamed as I made my way to the exit.
“Darling, I have a surprise for you...” My mother called from the kitchen. I groaned and pulled myself off the sofa and away from Legion of the Black. I stood with the aid of my crutches and hobbled to the kitchen where I saw my mother with her indigo hair beaming at me.
“What’s so important? I’m missing Resurrect The Sun” I grumbled. I had no reason to be social and would rather whip someone upside the head than talk to them.
“In two hours you’re flying to London for a One Direction and Five Seconds of Summer concert. Everything has been paid for and all you need to do is go.” She said handing me a folder which I took and dropped because it was too heavy and I kinda need two hands for my crutches. “Uhh... Thanks. Can you just take the folder and put it in my bag? I need both my hands or I’ll be crawling around on my elbows.”
I made my way over to the luggage trolley and nipped my bag off and slipped it onto my back, like a boss. This concert is going to be mad. What if they see me? If they see me they’ll probably ignore me... Unless they see the crutches or my cast, then they’ll freak.
**AFTER THE CONCERT**
That was probably the best concert I have ever been to. None of the boys saw me which is good, but I have to hobble back to my hotel room. Niall and Michael saw Ana and Shannon. It was cute how Niall cut off mid-sentence when he saw Ana, they’re really perfect for each other. I was about a block away from my hotel and saw a cramped car go past, I swear I saw Ashton looking at me.
I entered the elevator and press the button for floor three. I whipped out my phone and texted Ashton,
Hey Ash, I now you probably don’t want to hear from me but I’m just going to say that you guys were amazing tonight.❤ Love, Beanie.
I exited the elevator once it reached the third floor and went to my room ad just flopped down on the sofa and slept without bothering to take my shoe or glasses off.
