1. The Other Side

In the depths of a mind,

Far from the one screwed onto my body,

There is a girl, waiting to be shown.

Although she is one, timid, shy and naïve,

The mind that encases her is wild, spontaneous, and loud.

It captivates her true soul.

The body screwed to this jail cell of a mind,

Bones, flesh, and muscles,

Reflect those of the hidden girl,

Yet, she remains. Hidden. Trapped. Alone.

In an age far from this one,

The other side was shown.

But the voices of the cruel world threw her away,

Taking every ounce of love along with it.

The mind that encloses this girl,

Now has a wall built tall and strong.

The world that the other side has faced only brought her pain.

The other side fears.

Because of battles lost,

And words that were unspoken, but were always there.

For nothing but a mitt of fate,

Was the other side given.

The other side only had one chance.

The other side had one hope.

The other side had but one line of fate on a wall.

To be destroyed. And she was.

Okay, so thank you for reading!

I would really appreciate it if you told me what you think in the comments. I read through all of them! Constructive criticism is always appreciated too.
