'Welcome to Guitar City. Nice, yes?" the words roll off of Toni's tongue in an Italian lilt.
Around us were about 50 guitars; acoustic, electric, and accessories were scattered to and fro as well.
"Wow! There's do MANY!" Luke grins, showing his teeth. His innocent eyes scan the room, a childish aura taking over his appearance. he truly looked like a kid in a candy store.
Toni softly smiles, looking at Luke with a fatherly look of approval. "This is only my display. These are a few that I have. But on an even better note (y/n lol I love puns), this beautiful young lady can play every single guitar that you see here. She has tried every single instrument in my shop."
Luke turns to me with wide, flabbergasted eyes. 'Is that true?"
I blush and look down. My combat boots suddenly seem really interesting at the moment.
'Yeah, but nothing major really. Just me, chilling with the guitars." Really, Kallie?!?! 'just chilling with the guitars'? God, I am such an awkward idiot. I shrug and blink (182), still looking at the ground. I blink (182) again, and open my eyes to see a wild Luke Hemmings wrapped around my legs, hugging them.
"You are a god." he whispers, still on his knees.
"My dear, you truly are a blond." Oh, so now Toni is going to pick on my hair color. "Egli è assolutamente innamorato di te. I want you to play that black bass over there." He points to a large ebony bass on the wall. I can't reach it, it;s to high!
"Would you like some help kitten?" Oh my god he gave me a pet name- literally. ( y/n my puns I swear to god)
"No. I am perfectly capable of reaching a guitar..." I trail off. "Even if it is ten feet over my head."
Luke looks at me expectantly, his eyebrows raised.
"Fine, get the guitar for me you skyscraper." I huff, and cross my arms, mock pouting.
He smirks. "That's what I thought." Luke reaches up to grab the guitar, and his shirt sleeve slithered up his arm, revealing a bit of his tattoo. I decided to be a snoop, and took a quick peek. I gave it a fleeting glance, only noticing a treble clef and a K.
I glance down at my tattoo, sliding up the faded black leather bracelet covering it.
The familiar letters in thick, block lettering jump out at me, spelling out a word that I know all too well. Floating around next to the letters is a bass clef. The black ink is a large contrast to my pale white skin. I don't get outside as much as I would like to, but Pokemon is just so appealing!
"Alright, well here you are." Luke's deep voice interrupts my train of thought. I quickly push my bracelet back down my arm, hiding the tattoo away from prying eyes. I look up and see that Luke is standing in front of me, holding the black bass that I was demanded to play. He was kind of glancing back and forth between my arm and my eyes. Oh my god, did he see my tattoo? I can't imagine why it would be a bad thing, but I just get freaked out by small things I guess.
"Thanks." I take the guitar from him, watching his reactions.
Luke leans in close, and whispers in my ear:
"I saw the scars, we are going to have a few words later on today."
Just what I wanted him to notice me as.
The freak with scars.
