“So, Georgia how did you enjoy your first day?”
Georgia stared at the woman in confusion.
“I’m sorry….I don’t really know you…”
“Oh of course. I’m Kurenai!”
Georgia watched the woman as she smiled at her. She had long black hair, which came down to just past her shoulders and red eyes. She was wearing a pink blouse with a pair of grey trousers that stopped just above her shoes.
“Right….nice to meet you…” Georgia replied.
“So…how has it been for the first day?”
Georgia thought for the moment before replying to it.
“Well…I can say this. So far I’ve met a class full of unique and interesting kids, I’ve spoken to someone…actually I’m not sure who that was and finally I’ve pushed a guy into a load of chairs. I would say that today wasn’t something you would call a ‘normal’ first day.”
“That would seem to be very true!” She smiled. “Then again nothing at this school is normal.”
“I don’t follow…”
“Well, the thing is…look at us all we’re not exactly normal and the kids sometimes do crazy things…”
“Right ok. Anyway this meeting, what exactly is it about?” Georgia asked glancing away.
“Oh right, you weren’t told about the meeting…ok well this is where we introduce ourselves to you?”
“Cool I don’t do well with other people though…”
“No worries.” Kurenai told her. “I’ll tell you who they all are and what they teach if you like?”
“Yes! Yes. That would be nice.” Georgia replied with a small smile.
“Well then, over there we have Iruka, the history teacher.”
Kurenai pointed at a man of medium height with brown hair tied in a hairband the ends showing over his head. He was wearing a cream coloured jumper with a white top underneath.
“That’s Asuma, the Geography teacher.”
She pointed towards a man that had black spiked up hair with brown eyes. He was wearing a brown jacket over a white button up top.
“That there is Tsunade, the Anatomy teacher.”
This time Kurenai pointed to a blonde woman who had her hair braided in a ponytail. She was wearing a blue top and trousers.
“Then that is Jiraiya…he’s the Sex Education teacher and a major….woman liker.”
She pointed to a grey haired man who was in a red top and was reading a book about anatomy.
“Right Ok, thanks is that all?” Georgia asked.
“Well there’s Guy the P.E teacher and Kakashi, the Maths teacher. It doesn’t look like they’re here right now though…”
The door opened revealing Kakashi walking in with his book out. He looked up and waved at them all.
“Sorry I’m late Guy wanted to race.” He explained.
Kakashi walked over to where Kurenai and Georgia were stood.
“Kurenai, Georgia.” He smiled at them. “Can I talk with you at the end? It will be about the class today.”
“Sure.” Georgia replied. “Yeah, sure. What time does this usually finish?”
“Round about now.” Kurenai told her.
Georgia watched as the rest of them left.
“So the class was good then?” She asked him.
Kakashi nodded. He put his book away and stared at her for a second. Georgia watched him as he took a step forwards.
“It was the best I’ve seen for a long time.” He told her.
He leaned in a little as the door creaked open slightly. She noticed Kurenai and Asuma poke their heads around the door watching them.
“What are they doing?” She asked Kakashi.”
“I don’t know…”
He leaned in a little more.
“What are we doing?”
“Again, I’m not entirely sure…”
He smiled to himself as the space between them decreased even more. Realising what was about to happen she asked a final question.
“Are we really about to do this?”
“Yeah. So stop talking.” Kakashi said.
He placed his lips onto hers, wrapping his arms around her. They closed their eyes, Georgia beginning to smile to herself as the worst thing happened to them. They jumped back away from each other as the door flung open, Kurenai and Asuma screaming. Georgia turned to the figure as they smiled at her.
“Oh dear God….”
“You know them?” Kakashi asked her surprised.
“She’s my best friend…”
“Good afternoon everyone! I’m Lozzie the new Chemistry teacher!”
Georgia laughed slightly as she pushed the fake plastic black glasses up her nose. Her hair consisted of different shades of brown and blonde highlights in it.
“Sorry I was late, I missed my bus!”
She ran over engulfing Georgia in a hug. Georgia, squirming to get out, watched as Kakashi took his book back out and walked off out of the door.
“Man I can’t believe I missed my first day on the job! So how’re you…?”
