She stirred moving the hand as it pushed her lightly. She groaned as it pushed her again, this time a little harder.
“Get off…!” She moaned shoving the arm away.
She jumped, her eyes flying wide as she heard the chairs crash.
“What the…?” Her eyes drifted over the scene before her.
She watched in surprise as someone stood up from the pile of chairs and desks on the floor. They stared back at her for a second. Their hand running through their platinum blonde hair.
“Hmm…look at that you’ve damaged my book.” They told her.
“Right…sorry about that. Who are you again?”
He looked at her surprised before realizing why she’d asked.
“Kakashi Hatake, the maths teacher.” He smiled at her.
“Yeah, nice to meet you….anyway, I’m sorry about the book.”
Kakashi smiled at her. He was tall with platinum blonde hair, she frowned at the style of dress he’d chose. There was a long piece of material covering his right eye and another material covering the bottom half of his face. Kakashi opened the book again before closing it straight away. He was wearing a navy button up top and trousers.
“Looks like I’ll have to start again…”
“Sorry…?” She offered rushing over to pick the chairs up. “So what is it you teach again?” She asked him making sure the chairs were picked up.
“Maths. Do you need help?” He replied.
“Err…no, no I’m done now.” She smiled back at him. “Now your book, why don’t I get you a new one?”
“This one should be fine. I was sent here to get you by the Head.”
She looked away noticing one of the seats hadn’t been put back into it’s space. Noticing it on it’s back at the back of the room she sighed.
“How did that get over there?”
“I believe you shoved me into the chairs and that one went flying. Now the Head sent me.”
“Right…what was it they wanted?” She asked walking over to the chair and dragging it back to the space.
“They wanted me to tell you that there is a meeting after school hours where you will meet everyone.”
“Right, why didn’t you just tell me that?” She asked turning back to him.
“Well, unless I’m mistaken you pushed me into the chairs so I was recovering from it. I didn’t have the time to tell you.” He told her opening the book a third time.
“Yeah well unless I’m mistaken you were poking me to wake me up!”
“No need to raise your voice.” He told her calmly. “So can we count on you to be at the meeting then as it is in your honour?”
“Well….I wasn’t going to go but I guess I’m going to have to go….”
“Good. I’ll tell the head that you’re coming then.” He smiled at her a final time.
He walked over to the door. Georgia watching him.
“Hey! Wait!” Georgia called to him.
Kakashi turned around and glanced up at her. He looked back at his book and turned the page.
“Well…how did you know who I was?”
“Your name is on the door as well as the subject. The Head also told me what you were called.” He explained not taking his eyes off the book as he turned another page.
She nodded remaining silent. An atmosphere of awkwardness settled on top of the two adults.
“Is that all?” Kakashi asked, his body language suggesting that he didn’t like the silence in the room.
Georgia nodded. She walked back over to the desk and sat down. She lifted a pile of paperwork up off the floor and started to flick through it.
“Good, now I’ll go then.” He told her walking out of the room.
“Right yeah sure…” She told him reading the paperwork. Once sure that he was out of hearing range she looked up from the paper work. “A meeting!” She whined. “Why can’t I just have a nice first day?”
She listened as the bell went, all of the children running out of their classrooms towards the doors. She watched as Naruto went to run past.
“Naruto!” She shouted after the young boy.
“Yes sensei?” He replied walking back into her classroom.
“What time is it?”
“Lunch time sensei.” He replied. “Can I go now? I really want to get to Ichiraku Ramen before lunch ends!”
“Yes sure, I was just wondering about the time.”
“Sensei, anyone would think you’ve been asleep since our lesson!” He laughed.
“Yes I suppose that they would.” She smiled slightly. “Now, don’t you want to get to Ichiraku Ramen?”
“Yes! Bye Sensei!” He called around the door sprinting off.
“Bye! Naruto!” She shouted after him. Georgia looked at the paperwork again and sighed. “Now, I really wish that I hadn’t slept…” She murmured watching the children running after each other outside.
