Georgia sighed and watched as Sasuke and Naruto glared at each other. She swore that she could see electricity flickering between the two’s eyes. She lay there on the field and groaned. She hadn’t meant to fight the child, he’s just annoyed her.
“They’re always like that.” Kakashi commented.
He smiled at her and sat down next to her. Georgia blinked when she realised that he’d changed what he was wearing. Kakashi was wearing a green waist coat with black trousers. There was a white piece of tape wrapped around his leg. He had a headband with a leaf symbol on it and it covered his right eye. He put his hand on top of her and laughed.
“Why are you going bright red?” He asked.
Georgia narrowed her eyes and looked away. She rolled her eyes as she heard Naruto shout in pain. Both adults sat up as he started shouting at Sakura. Kakashi stood up and turned to look behind them. There was a laugh sounding, the four of them jumping up alert.
“Georgia…you shouldn’t be sat there if you’re going to go out with him.” Lozzie commented on her.
Georgia sat up and turned around. Lozzie and Itachi stared at her for a moment. She watched as Sasuke ran at Itachi. She jumped up, intercepting him. She grabbed his hand spinning him around, she stuck her leg out tripping him so that he fell to the floor.
“What are you doing?” He spat.
“As long as he’s her boyfriend I’m not going to let you touch him. No matter what you’re reasons are.” She replied. “What do you want?” She asked the pair.
“I was coming out to see how it was going, but Itachi just wanted to come with me.” Lozzie explained.
“That’s disgusting.” Sasuke commented.
Georgia frowned and shoved him into the dirt more. Kakashi sighed and pulled her back. Sasuke stood up and glared at her. He turned back to where Lozzie and Itachi were stood, only to find them gone.
“Why did you do that?!” He shouted at her.
“I owe her.” Georgia replied. “I told you as long as he’s her boyfriend, I’m not going to let you touch him. No matter what your reasons are.”
“Let’s go and get something to eat.” Kakashi said. “First though I’ll need to change.”
He disappeared, returning later with a puff of smoke.
“Shall we?” He asked them.
The students nodded walking off a little ahead of them. Kakashi turned to her with a smile. He was back in his blue shirt and trousers. He took her hand and walked off with them.
“Why are you still holding my hand? Surely your own students know what the hell is going on?” She asked him.
Kakashi shook his head.
“Kurenai, Asuma, Iruka, Naruto and I decided it would be better not to tell anyone.” He told her.
“Why? What’s so wrong with telling them?”
“The thing is that the school is fake. Sure we teach them what is needed but they don’t take the exams for them. The current Hokage heard rumours of someone killing off Shinobi in other lands so…he sort of commissioned for us to find the person doing it. Then you came and I sort of…”
“Sort of what?” Georgia asked him.
“I sort of decided that it would be better to keep you a secret.” He paused. “Who did you kill?” He asked.
“Who did I kill?” She frowned. “His name was Larry. He worked with me at some point but then went mad. He’s probably the one who was killing off Shinobi.”
They stopped outside of a building. The building was small with a six stools under a bar like ledge. There were four large pieces of cloth hung outside that acted like a door. Kakashi pushed the cloth out of the way letting them all go inside.
“Ah Naruto! Here for the usual?” A woman from behind the counter asked him.
Naruto smiled. “You better believe it!”
“How about you four?” She asked the rest of them.
Georgia looked at them, sitting down beside Naruto.
“They’ll have the same as me!” Naruto answered for them.
Georgia stared at him for a moment in silence.
“Don’t worry Sensei! I know all the best Ramen! Believe it!” He shouted.
The woman behind the counter laughed and placed the food down in front of them all. Georgia stared at the food sceptically.
“Trust him.” Kakashi told her.
She watched him curiously as he went to lift his mask down. He glanced at her, Georgia looking behind her, noticing that the others had stopped to watch him too.
“So! This is where you guys went to!” Iruka shouted.
He moved in front of them, blocking their view. Georgia sighed, Iruka laughing at her.
“I’d wondered where you’d gone! I should’ve known that Naruto would come here for lunch.” He chuckled. “So you two are on a date finally then?” He asked her.
“It’s not a date. It’s just lunch.”
“Oh of course…listen lunch finishes in half an hour so make sure you’re back to teach.” Iruka told her.
“Yeah will do!” Georgia called after him.
“Err Sensei…? Are you going to eat that?” Naruto asked her, eyeing up her plate.
Georgia laughed and passed it him.
“Nah you can have it. Kakashi’s paying anyway.”
Kakashi looked up at her in surprise. He rolled his eyes, passing the money over the counter.
“I want to go and wander around the shops.” Sakura told them walking off.
“I’m going back to the school.” Sasuke told them following her.
Naruto looked up at her with noodles hanging slightly out of his mouth.
“Do you want to come with me to go and get some books? Then some other things, if we find anything we like?” Georgia asked him.
Naruto nodded and quickly finished his food. He jumped up dragging Georgia out of the shop.
“Wait for me.” Kakashi said.
He took hold of her hand, Georgia looking at him confused.
“It’s just for a precaution. You’d better get used to it.” He told her.
Georgia rolled her eyes with a sigh, Naruto beaming at the two of them.
“So Sensei? What are we getting exactly?” Naruto asked her.
Naruto stopped and turned around as if thinking of something
“Have you even received your first pay check yet Sensei?”
Georgia thought for a moment before blushing bright red in embarrassment.
“I’ll pay for it.” Kakashi answered simply.
Georgia looked at him gratefully before looking away.
“Err…well I need to get some copies of Jekyll and Hyde first and then…I don’t know. I think that’s all…” Georgia said.
“Well, the bookstores this way.” Kakashi pointed out.
They stopped outside of the book store.
“I wonder if the next book in the Makeout Paradise series is out…?” Kakashi thought out loud.
“I’m pretty sure it will be.” Georgia said with a smile. “Are you sure you want to buy the books?”
“I was going to go in here anyway.” He replied. “So what book is it you need?” He asked.
He held the door open for her letting her go past first with Naruto. Georgia walked up to the desk and waited till the man turned around. He smiled at her.
“So what can I do for you?” He asked her.
Kakashi walked up behind her and placed an orange book onto the desk.
“We’ll take this and have some copies of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.” He said.
Georgia stared at him, Kakashi smiling at her.
“The name’s on the back of your hand.” He told her.
“Yes sir. How many copies do you need?” He asked them.
“How many would fill up a class?” He replied.
“Well it depends I guess on how many are in the class. How many is in your class?” The assistant asked.
“Well…there’s Hinata, Shino, Kiba, Sakura, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Choji, Ino…that’s all there is in the class.”
“Naruto means that we need nine copies.” Kakashi clarified.
“Sensei! There’s eight people in our class!” Naruto stated.
“Well that would be true Naruto.” Kakashi started. “If you weren’t in the class. You however are and forgot about that. Get it?”
“Oh yeah…” Naruto replied.
He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. The assistant put it into the till and Kakashi paid for them. The assistant then disappeared behind a door and came back with the copies of the books in a box. Kakashi took the box off the counter with a smile.
“I’ll take these for you.” Kakashi said.
They walked out of the shop, walking back towards the school.
“Are you sure you’re ok with carrying those?” She asked him.
“It’s not that heavy.” He replied.
They entered the school walking towards Georgia’s classroom. Lozzie waved at her with a huge smile. They entered the room, Naruto taking his seat.
“I haven’t got you next have I Naruto?” She asked him.
Georgia pulled open the draw taking out a timetable.
“I have a free. Do you want to work in here?”
“Cool, well, I think I’m going to get some work done then.”
“I’ll see you later.” Kakashi told her.
He paused for a second before quickly kissing her cheek and exiting the room. Georgia sighed picking up the work off the floor.
“Sensei.” Naruto said. “You really need to have somewhere else to put your work. Kakashi sensei fell over that.”
Georgia let out a little laugh.
“Did he?” She asked taking out a pen.
“Yeah, we all had to control ourselves so we didn’t laugh to loud because you were about to come through the door.” He told her.
She glanced up from the work with a smile before looking down at the work again.
“Haha! Well, now I’ve got to do some work so if you can be quiet for me?” She said.
Georgia looked down at the paperwork with a sigh. She picked up the pen and tapped it against the back of her hand thinking for a second. She then smiled and started to write on it as the bell for the end of lunch rang.
