Georgia lay down on her bed and sighed. She looked down at her clothes frowning at the blood splattered on it. She placed an arm lazily over her face.
“This was my favourite fucking jacket…”
“Really? You have about three of them in your wardrobe.”
She sat up and stared at him. Kakashi smiled at her and waved. He put his book into his back pocket and moved forwards a little.
“How did you know where I live?” She asked him.
“Your friend Lozzie told me.” He replied.
Kakashi sat down beside her as she moved away from him.
“She’s been trying to get me to go with you and her to some restaurant. What were you doing in the tunnels?” He asked.
“I was coming home when Naruto fell through the ceiling, I don’t know what you two were doing up there but…”
“We were training.”
“We’re Shinobi.” He told her.
“Shinobi? They haven’t been around for years-”
“Wrong.” Kakashi interrupted. “We’ve been around all the time, just in secret. My turn, why are you here?”
“To teach.” Georgia said simply.
“I’ll try again. Why are you here? What are you doing?”
“Nothing that you need to worry about Kakashi. I’ll be gone in a few days.”
Kakashi raised an eyebrow at her.
“Why will you be gone?”
“I was sent to find out the secret of the village. Now I’ve found it I can leave.”
“It’s not that easy.”
“Really, I thought I could.”
“You’ve already killed someone.” Kakashi pointed out.
“Yeah but it was someone that you don’t know about. No need for the village to worry.”
“I could give you a way out of this.”
“Huh, a way out of what?” She asked.
“Out of whatever it is you’re doing.”
“Ok and what exactly makes you think that I want to get out of whatever it is that I’m in?” She asked him.
He watched her for a second before smiling.
He walked out of the room, Georgia remaining frozen on the spot. She heard the door open and close, her mind starting up again. She ran downstairs to the kitchen, picking up the phone and dialling a number on it.
“What the hell were you thinking?!” Georgia shouted down the phone.
“What…?” Lozzie asked her.
“What the hell were you thinking giving him my house address?!”
“Oh…that? I told him because you need to open up more and-”
“No! He just appeared in my house questioning me on what I was doing in the tunnels!” She shouted down the phone.
“Yeah? What were you doing down there?”
“I met the boss and then visited Millie. She tipped hot cocoa over me-”
“Let me guess…” Lozzie replied. “You got the information you needed and then went on to leave instantly?”
“What else could I have done? I mean she brought up your picture and tried to give me men advice.”
“Ooh did you take it?”
“No.” Georgia replied. “I left. I don’t like people telling me how to live my life, who to fall fo-”
“Who to fall for…?” Lozzie laughed. “Oh Georgia, I’m sorry-”
There was a loud noise on Lozzie’s end of the phone.
“What are you doing over there?”
“I’ll have to get back to you!” Lozzie shouted at her.
There was a moment’s silence.
“How many times do I have to bloody tell you?! Leave my lab alone!” She shouted. “Georgia I have to go, I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Georgia sighed as Lozzie hung up on her. She looked at herself in the mirror with a frown. Running upstairs, she quickly slipping off her clothes, she had a shower and threw some pyjamas on before climbing back into the bed and drifting off.
