"You look terrible." said Abby, coming up to me.
"I feel terrible." I said, shutting my locker as quietly as possible. I had the worst hangover from last night.
"Is it because of Andy?" she asked.
"How did you know about that?" I asked.
"Cody told Scott." she said.
"Right." I said. Cody is Andy's brother and Scott's best friend.
"So are you ok?" she asked.
"Yeah, I guess. I should not have drank last night." I said, rubbing my temples.
"You were drinking last night?" she asked, stunned.
"Yeah. I was with Kyle James, and something may have happened."
"Did you guys like make out?" she asked.
"Yeah and some other things." I said.
"What...Oh my god! You had sex!." she practically yelled.
"Would you shut up. The whole world doesn't need to know." I said, looking at two sophomore girls who were giggling.
"Damn girl, you move on quick." she said.
"I haven't moved on, it was a drunken mistake." I said.
"So I take it, nothings going to come from it?"
"No, I don't think so. I'm still not quite over Andy." I said.
"Wow, Lil, I never expected you of all people to have a one night stand." she said.
"Yeah, me neither."
"So, how was it?" asked Abby, as we walked to geometry.
"I really don't remember that much. I was so drunk." I said.
"Looks like you're gonna have to face him now." said Abby, as we walked in and saw Kyle sitting in his usual seat.
"I'm sure Kyle knows where I stand." I said.
"I guess you'll find out." said Abby, taking her seat.
"Hey." said Kyle as I approached him.
"Hi. Listen, about last night..." I began.
"It's ok, you don't have to explain anything to me." he said.
"I know, but I feel like I should." I said.
"It's alright, I get it. It was just a one time thing and nothing else." he said.
"Yeah. So we're cool?"
"Of course we are." he said.
"Great. I just didn't want things to be awkward." I said.
"They won't be." he said.
"Can we talk?" asked Andy, coming up to me at lunch.
"Why should I talk to you. I think we've talked enough." I said.
"Please, just let me explain. I really need to talk to you." he said.
"Fine." I said, getting up from the lunch table.
"You okay?" asked Abby, looking between Andy and me.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." I said, following Andy.
"Look, I messed up." he said, stopping in the corner with the water fountains.
"Yeah, I guess that's one way to put it." I said.
"Just because we're in a relationship doesn't mean we have to have sex." he said.
"No, it doesn't. I'm sorry if you felt like I was pressuring you." I said.
"It's fine. I guess we never really talked about it. But as long as your ok with waiting, then maybe we can make it work." he said.
I thought about telling him about Kyle, but I decided against it. I didn't want to lose him again.
"Well, since I plan on marrying you, I guess it'll be ok." I said.
"Great." he said, wrapping me up in hug.
"I love you." I whispered to him.
"I love you too." he whispered back.
"So I heard you and Andy are back together." said Kyle, as I was walking to track practice.
"Boy, that was fast. We literally just got back together at lunch." I said, shocked.
"Well, in this school nothing stays private for very long." he said.
"That's true." I said.
"I get the feeling you didn't tell him about us."
"No, I couldn't. I don't want to lose him again, so if you could keep it to yourself that would be great." I said.
"Oh man, I was just gonna go blog about it." he said, jokingly.
"I'm serious." I said, laughing.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to tell anyone." he said.
"Thanks. I'll see you later." I said, walking to practice.
