"Are you awake? Hello?!" Juniper asked the form lying on the ground. 'Oh, just a bush,' she thought as she touched what she thought to be an arm. Her form flickered, then went back to normal, except Juniper looked sick. She was too far away from her source of power, the juniper tree that she lived in. Juniper is a dryad (tree goddess), so she can't be too far away from her tree. She ran back up Half-Blood Hill, and into the borders of camp. "Grover! There is a bush at the bottom of the hill. Can you help me get rid of it?"
"Why do you want to get rid of the bush? It didn't hurt you. That is destroying Pan and Demeter's realm!" Grover exclaimed.
"It looks like a person. I thought it was a person, so I went to help. I don't want anymore demigods going out of the camp borders just to save what they thought was a person." Juniper replied, a little annoyed. Whenever she needed something cut down, that was his excuse. If she wanted the weeds around the trunk of her juniper tree removed, excuse. She wants a squirrel killed because it keeps climbing on her tree, excuse.
"Oh, well in that case, let's go!" Grover said, his goat hooves running as fast as they could to get to the bottom of Half-Blood Hill. They reached the bottom, and Grover got the saw out. He walked over to the "bush" and went to cut it down. Before he started sawing, he looked at the bush. He saw that it had eyes. 'Wait, eyes?!' he thought as he pulled of what he thought were branches from the "face" of the bush. They weren't branches. They were vines, wrapped around a girl with brown hair and eyes the color of dirt. But there was something weird about her eyes. Not only were they brown, but they had a rim of green on the outside and around the pupil, and inside the green rings there were little red, blue, and yellow specks, almost like flowers on a patch of grass.
"Juniper...I can't hurt the bush."
"And WHY exactly, can you NOT destroy it?!" Juniper said, fuming.
"Because it's not a bush........it's a person."
