Full Hearts, They Beat as One

Look, I never wanted to have a crush. If you're reading this because you think you might have one, my advice is: close this book now. Believe whatever lie you told your self about your love life, and lead a normal life. BEING IN LOVE IS DANGEROUS. ITS SCARY. MOST OF THE TIME, IT GETS YOU KILLED IN PAINFUL, NASTY WAYS. If you're just a crushless kid, reading this because you think it's fiction, read on. I envy you. But if you feel someting stirring inside, shut this book. Because, once you know that you're one of us, it's only a matter of time before THEY sense it too, and they'll come for you.

Don't say I didn't warn you......~ Percy Jackson

4. Hellhounds, Hellhounds, They'll Eat You For Lunch. (Or try to)

Reyena's POV

I was wandering around the edges of Camp Half-Blood, and I might've kinda got outside the boundaries a little bit.... Ok, so I went down to the very bottom of Half-Blood Hill, and saw something in the shadows. I stopped and dropped down, trying to hide. Whatever was hiding in the bushes cameover to me and thought that I was dead. I pulled out my sword and attacked it. I found out that it was a Hellhound. I went to walk back up the hill, but was stopped by a gigantic blow to my back. Another Hellhound knocked me over. As I fell, I heard two snaps, an felt a wave of pain shoot up my arms. I screamed for help, but no one came. As the Hellhounds pulled me by the legs back to the shadows, I head another snap from my leg and an even stronger wave of pain. I screamed again, but, no use. I was bleeding badly from the spot that the Hellhounds dug their claws into my back. I was losing a lot of blood. More than I should. I started feeling dizzy and my vision was blurry. I watched as someone came running down the hill to help me, but I couldn't tell who, because when they reached the bottom, I passed out. Plants grew over me, making me look like a bush.
