"Jack! Come on! We have to go get dad!" I yelled. Jackie came running downstairs. "Come to mommy." I said to Nicole. She smiled, and stumped over to me. I picked her up, and smiled. "Let's go get daddy." I said closing the front door. Lauren was already in the car, happy as can be.
"Are you excited to see dad. jack?" I asked. Jackie nodded, with a big smile. "I can't wait to see dad!" She said. I smiled. "Me too." I said, with a big smile. "Is Calum going to be there?" She asked. "I don't know. Maybe." I said, looking in my rearview mirror.
"Ashton!" I yelled, running to him. He dropped his bags immediately. He picked me up, and spun me around. "I missed you so much." I said. "I missed you too." He said, letting me down. "Dad!" Jackie yelled, running to us. "Lady Bug!" Ashton yelled, picking her up. "I missed you baby girl." He said. "I missed you too dad." She replied. "Where's my two girls?" He asked. Lauren came over and gave him a big hug. "Oh my baby." He said, taking Nicole from my arms. Nicole smiled brightly.
"Ashley! Ashton! When are you two getting married!"
"Ashton how does it feel to be back!"
"Ashley! How was your day out with Annelyy and Matt!"
I smiled at Ashton as we walked through the paparazzi. This day is going perfect, so far. "So, how's Anne?" Ashton asked. "Um, she's good. Little freaky. But she's good." I replied, with a smile. He nodded. "Dad." Jackie said. She's beginning to get an accent now, due to Ashton being here. "Yes lady bug." He replied. "Uncle Henry came over." She said. Ashton looked at me. "But, mom kicked him out." She said. Ashton smiled.
"Dinner!" I yelled. Ashton came running out from the bedroom. I laughed, as he grabbed Jackie and Nicole, and ran to the table. I rolled my eyes. "Lauren! Kyle!" I yelled. Ashton is finally okay with he idea of them dating, so he pretty much comes over all the time now.
"Oh, mom, I finally got something right in school today." Jackie said. "That's great honey. Lauren, did you do anything in school today?" I asked. She nodded. "I wrote something." She said. I nodded. Fourteen year olds. Never talk.
"I'm happy dads back." Jackie said, as I sat on her bed. "I am too." I replied. "Did you realize I have a accent?" She asked. "I did. Is that from dad?" I asked. She nodded. "I really missed him." She said. I smiled. "I did too. I did too. He's home for a long time now." I said. She nodded and smiled. "Now we get to talk about the wedding. And your birthday. And Aunt Anne's baby." I said. "Wedding!" She yelled. I laughed. "Get some sleep okay." I said. She nodded.
"Wedding, huh." Ashton said, as I walked out of Jackie's room. "Yes wedding. Which we have coming up soon." I said. He nodded. "And I am so excited to call you Mrs. Green. Instead of Ms. Green." He said. I laughed. "Ashley Ann-Marie Green-Irwin. I like it. I'll go by Green." I said. He nodded. "We have... what eight months." He said. "And I'm going dress shopping tomorrow." I said. He smiled brightly.
