You're marrying a suicidal?" She asked. My jaw dropped, and I broke out of Ashton's grasp. "I'm done!" I yelled. "I would rather die, than be bullied by you!" I yelled. "Ashley. Don't do it." Ashton said. "And who's gonna stop me." I cried. "Me." Someone said.
"What the fuck?" Ashton asked.
I stared in bewilderment. "H-how?" I asked. "I never died. I wanted you to live your life." He said. I wiped my tears. "Mr. Green." Ashton said. My dad smiled, and shook his hand.
"You," my dad said, pointing to Ashton's mom. "I don't appreciate you treating my daughter this way. She is your sons everything. She was raised well. And I do not want her to kill herself, because of some hopeless bitch." He said. My eyes grew wide from my dads choice of words.
"Go get Nicole." I said to Lauren, who showed up in the room. She nodded. "And Bryant." I said. "I can see my grandkids?" He asked. I nodded.
"Mamma." Nicole said, running into my arms. I picked her up and smiled. "Baby, this is your grandpa." I said. She looked at me. "Pa." She whispered. I nodded. "Down." She said. I put her down on the ground, and she went to my dad.
He picked her up, and she smiled. "Pa." She said. I smiled. "Dad, this is the newest member." I said, taking Bryant from Lauren. My dads eyes went wide. "I have a grandson?" He asked. I nodded. He took him from my arms, and held him.
We decided it was good to go out to eat, with Ashley, Annelyy, Mr. Green and the kids. We left my mum at home, so she could think things over.
"Baby, sit down." Ashley said. Nicole sighed, and sat back into her highchair. "What's that?" Jackie asked. "My steak." I replied. She opened her mouth, so she could try some. I cut a piece off. "That's good!" She said, taking my salad.
"Dada." Nicole said. I looked to her. She pointed to my steak. "No Ashton." Ashley said. "I know." I replied. "No baby." I said. She huffed.
"Here." I said, giving Jackie the rest of my food. She smiled, and ate it. "Jack, slow down." Ashley said. "Sorry mom." She said. Ashley nodded, and turned to Annelyy.
"So Anne, are you and Matt getting back together?" I asked. "Yeah. We discussed it today. He might be coming here with Mathew." She replied. I nodded. "Matt, that boy you used to date Ash?" Mr. Green asked. I looked at her. "Yes dad. Matt as in the boy I used to date. A long time ago." She replied. He nodded.
Matt showed up with Mathew, and we got along. Nicole and Mathew got along well too. You could feel the tension in the air from Ashley and Matt though. My guess is because of what happened with Annelyy and him. But Anne and him got along really well, considering they were apart for a month.
"I got the bill." I said. "Nonsense. I got it." Mr. Green said. "No, let me." Ashley said, grabbing the bill out of my hands. "Babe." I said. "Hey, it's father's day. And all of you are fathers." She replied. I sighed, but smiled. "Okay. Anne, split it with me?" She asked. Anne nodded, and took money out. "Okay, all paid for." She said, taking Nicole out of the highchair.
"Happy Father's Day dad." Ashley said, hugging Mr. Green. He smiled, and hugged her back. They released, and he look at me. I automatically tensed. "Ashton." He said. I looked at him. "Thank you for taking care of my daughter. And Jackie. I truly appreciate it. I gave you the time you needed to redeem yourself. And you proved me correct." He said. "I'm confused. What did you get correct?" I asked. "You treat Ashley with respect. Which is what I told her she needed when she settled down with someone. And you have proven me correct, that you do treat her correctly." He said. I smiled. "So, thank you." He said. "I love your daughter, Sir. And I would do anything for her, and my family." I replied. He nodded. "You raised Jackie well. You're an amazing father." He said, turning around. "Oh, and Ashton." He said, turning around. I looked at him. "Happy Father's Day." He said. "You too, Sir." I replied.
"Happy Father's Day, dad." Jackie said, as I picked her up. "Thank you." I replied. "Appy fater ay!" Nicole yelled. I laughed, and smiled. "Thank you." I smiled at her. Jackie came back from Tyler's today, well this morning. Her weekend was over, so I picked her up. I didn't talk to Tyler, nor look at him.
Nicole smiled brightly at me, and put her arms up. "Up." She said. I knelt down, and picked her up. She smiled, and laid her head on my shoulder. Happy Father's Day to me. I'm a father. I'm an actual father, to three amazing kids. And I'm going to be a husband to an amazing woman.
