"Home sweet home." Ashton smiled, as we got off the plane. He looked so happy, and so... free? He knelt to the ground, and kissed it. "Ashton, baby, people are staring." I said, pulling him up. "It feels so good to be back home." He said, jumping up. He jumped around the parking lot of the airport, screaming. I smiled, and shook my head.
"Nothing to see here." I said to people who walked around us. "No one can understand you." A man said. I looked at him, confused. "Us Aussies, don't understand American accents. Just like you Americans don't understand us." He said. "Um, okay?" I questioned.
"Ashton. Ashton Irwin." The man said. Ashton stopped jumping, and looked at the man. "Steve!" He yelled, hugging him. "Did I miss something?" I asked. "Man, we're here on our honeymoon." Ashton said. "That's the girl you always talk about?" The man, Steve asked. Ashton nodded. "This, is my amazing, new wife, Ashley." Ashton said, putting his arm around my waist. "Well, I guess I should formally introduce myself. Steve Hustle. Ashton's childhood mate." Steve said. "Ashley Irwin-Green. Ashton's new wife." I said, shaking his hand.
"What do you do know?" Ashton asked. "I drive a cab." Steve replied. "Still? Man, I thought you would get into that publishing shit." Ashton replied. "I thought about it. There's no good places around here." Steve replied. Ashton nodded. "Well, I could drive you to the honeymoon spot." Steve said. Ashton nodded, and took our bags.
"Babe, I'm gonna call Ky and Cal, and make sure they're watching Nicole better than last time." I said, pulling my phone out. Ashton nodded, and told me to put it on speaker. "Mr. and Mrs. Irwin." Calum answered. "Are you watching Nicole?" I asked. "Yes. We are. Bryant is having fun with Ash." Kyla came on the phone. "Good. And what about Jackie?" I asked. "She's... good." Calum answered. "What'd she do?" I asked. "Spilt chocolate on the couch." Calum said slowly. "What!" I yelled. "Don't worry. We got it out." Kyla said. I took a deep breath. "Nicole, don't touch... that." Kyla sighed. "Oh god. Ash, I love you, but we gotta go." Kyla said, hanging up.
"Jackie got chocolate on the couch. Nicole broke something. God knows what happens when my dad will go there." I said. "They're good kids." Ashton replied. "Ash, Nic is two, what do you expect?" He asked. "Her not to brake things?" I answered. He looked at me. "Alright, alright." I sighed.
"You two have kids?" Steve asked. "Two." Ashton replied. "Technically three. Oh shit! It's Jackie's weekend with Tyler." I yelped, pulling my phone out. He sighed, and I took his hand in mine. "Yes?" Calum asked. "You need to drop Jackie off of Tyler's tonight after dinner." I said. "I have to?" He asked. "Yes, you have to. And when you do, call me, because I need to give him the usual speech." I said. "Alright, fine. We just ate, so I guess she packs her bag?" He asked. "It already should be packed." I replied. "Alright, I'm going to get her now." He said. "Okay, thank you." I replied. "Go away. I love you." He said. "I love you too." I answered, which earned a look from Ashton. "And I'm getting death stares from Ash. If you forget to call me when you drop her off, tell him, I will personally chop his dick off if he touches her, in any way. If he hits her, grabs her, or..." "I know. I know. And I will do the honors if that happens. You don't need to touch that." He said. I laughed. "Thanks Calum." I said. He hung up, and I smiled.
"Do you have pictures of these kids of yours?" Steve asked. "Yeah, um." I searched through my wallet, trying to find the most recent picture. "Well, I have a picture of the girls, but I was still pregnant in this picture." I said, handing him the picture. "Wow, I've never seen a pregnant woman before. And you were... huge." He said. "Yeah, thanks." I replied, looking down. "But man, these kids are adorable. Ash, I didn't know Lauren is living with you." Steve said. Ashton nodded. "Who's the little girl?" He asked. "Specific please." I replied. "The one on Ashton's lap." He answered. "That's Nicole. She's the baby, or was the baby, at the time." I replied. "She's cute." He answered. "Thank you." I smiled.
"Well, here we are." Steve said, pulling down a road. There were villas, and mansions around the street. "I can't wait to see the place you rented." I smiled. Ashton smiled, and took my hand in his. "It has a pool, and a hot tub, so we can go swimming. And you can wear that amazing new bathing suit." He whispered, nibbling at my ear. I giggled, and shook my head. "I can't wear that bathing suit." I sighed. "Why? I like that one." He asked. "If my dress wouldn't fit, then the bikini wouldn't fit." I replied. "Baby, you aren't fat. You've always been fit. You worked out all week, and ever since you had the baby. You look amazing." He replied. I sighed.
"This place is gorgeous. Ashton, you must have paid tons." I gleamed, walking into a villa. Ashton smiled, and kissed my head. "It's a honeymoon baby." He replied. "It's so nice. Look at the art, and... oh my god, look at the... is that, us?" I ran to a picture on the wall. I turned to Ashton, and he nodded. "Why is there a picture of us?" I asked.
"When we found out you were pregnant with Bry, I went on line, and found a house, or, a vacation home. It cost enough, and I figured, why not have it in Aussie. It's close to family, and to where I grew up. And it just happens... it's this home." He explained. "Ashton." I breathed. "Do you like it? I figured it as... well... a wedding gift." He smiled. "It's beautiful. I love it." I whispered.
"Now, why don't we go up to the bedroom, and change. And take a little swim in the pool. I know Steve wants to have a beer, and catch up." He whispered, running his fingers up my arm. I gulped, and nodded. "That bikini is calling your name." I replied. "The floor is calling it too. Just like the bed is calling us." He smirked. I rolled my eyes, and walked up the stairs.
I sat in the lawn chair, with a beer in my hand. "Babe, why don't you come in?" Ashton asked, swimming to the end of the pool. "I don't want to." I stated. Steve swam behind Ashton, and climbed onto his neck. "Babe, please." Ashton pouted. "You know, you have the same eyes Nicole uses when she wants to go outside." I said, getting up. "Well, she is my kid." He replied. I rolled my eyes, and walked into the pool, the beer still in my hand.
"So, let's catch up." Steve said, once I walked to Ashton. "So, you have three kids. Two are yours, and one isn't." Steve said. We both nodded. "When did you guys meet?" He asked. "A few years ago." I replied. "How did you guys meet?" He asked. "Can I tell it?" I asked. Ashton sighed.
"His band was performing at my school one day, and I was on set up and clean up. And I went outside, and I saw Ashton. We talked, and I ended up not liking him. I didn't know who he was, who his band was, any of their songs, nothing. And then, at my old job, he showed up, and asked me out. And the rest is history." I replied. Ashton smiled, and took my beer out of my hand, and took a sip.
"So, how about you? You and Gina still together?" Ashton asked. "Nah. We broke up a few years ago. Told me I wasn't worth the time. She took my place away. Back with the parents." He replied. I raised my eyebrows. "Shocking." I mumbled. Ashton elbowed me, and I grunted.
"You know, Ashton used to date my sister. She actually went to California one day. Apparently she saw him, and visited his hotel." Steve said. "Oh, really?" I asked. He nodded. "When?" I asked. "A few years ago. I'm going to say, maybe three, four years." He replied. I looked at Ashton, and looked down. "I need to make a call." I mumbled, taking my beer out of Ashton's hand. "Babe!" Ashton yelled. I grabbed my cover up, and walked into the house.
I walked into our room, and put shorts and a tank top on. "Ashley." Ashton said, walking into the room. I shook my head. "Don't. Please, don't." I replied, pulling my hair back. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. But I never thought I would see Steve again." He said. I shook my head. "Ashton, I said, don't." I replied, walking out the door. I walked down the stairs, and into the kitchen.
"Did I start something?" Steve asked, walking in. "No, don't worry about it." I replied, taking a bottle of water. "I'm gonna go out for a run." I said, walking to the door. "Ashley, wait." Ashton said. "Ashton, please." I sighed. He took a deep breath, and let me walk out.
I ran down the street, and called Annelyy. "Yes?" She answered. "I know who the girl is." I spoke. "Um... what girl?" She asked. "The one Ashton cheated on me with a few years ago." I replied. "Babe, I love you, but you've got to let that go." She said. "Anne, he cheated on me with his ex. She came to Cali, specifically for Ashton." I rambled. "Ash, this is your honeymoon. It was a long time ago. You need to let it go." She replied. "I can't let it go! He cheated on me with his god damn ex! And she's here!" I screamed.
I ran across the street, completely forgetting they drive on the other side of the road. "Maybe you should-" She got cut off by a car horn. I looked to the side, seeing a car driving right to me. It was about to hit me, when arms flew around my waist, and I got pulled to the side of the road.
"Are you crazy!" The man yelled. I couldn't see straight, but the man looked familiar. "Damn it, you could have gotten yourself killed!" He yelled. "Help me up." I said, holding my hand out. He helped me up, and held me still. "Where are you staying?" He asked. "Down the street." I replied. He nodded, and walked me back to the Villa.
The man knocked on the Villa door, and Ashton answered. "What happened?" Ashton asked. "Girl almost got hit by a car crossing the street. She was on the phone, and screaming something. And she almost got hit." The man explained. Ashton sighed, and nodded. "Well, thank you for saving her. Would you like to come in, for a beer?" Ashton replied. "I can't. My kid is at daycare waiting. Thanks though." The man replied.
"Who. Were. You. On. The. Phone. With." Ashton said through gritted teeth. "Annelyy." I whispered. "Damn it, Ashley! You almost got hit!" He yelled. "I wouldn't have been, if I didn't find out who she was!" I yelled. He pinched the brim of his nose. "It was a while ago, yes, I know. But I can't let it go. I was hurt that day. And now that I know who she is, that she's your ex, and your best friend's sister, it just... makes things... harder." I explained. He sighed, and took my in his grasp. "Don't go out by yourself." He said. I nodded. "It's our honeymoon. I want us to have a good day, and have no fights." He replied. I nodded.
"Now, I know this bed is just calling our names." He said, pushing me down on the bed. I giggled, and opened my arms, and he climbed onto me, and straddled my waist. I smiled, and kissed him. "I. love. you." He said, between kisses. In reply, I kissed him roughly, and he grunted. "You are just calling for it." He said. "Then bring it." I smirked. He shook his head, and smiled. "Get ready for a bumpy ride. Let's hope you don't get anything growing inside." He said, before tearing my shirt off.
