I got up out of the hospital bed, and held Nicole. "Hello my baby." I said, kissing her head. She opened her eyes, and started to cry. "Hungry are you?" I asked, sitting on the bed.
"Hey babe." Ashton said, walking into the room, in the middle of me feeding Nicole. "Today's the day." He said. I nodded. "Shes thirsty." He said, with a grin. "Ew! Ashton! Shes allowed to! Shes a baby!" I said. He laughed.
"But seriously, are you excited to come home?" He asked. I nodded, as I moved Nicole away from me, and handed her to ashton. "I'm gonna get dressed, and then we can go." I said, getting up.
I walked in the bathroom, and looked at the scar I had from the sea section. I sighed at it. "Ash, you alright?" Ashton asked. "Yeah, I'll be out in a minute." I replied, pulling my shirt over my head.
"Mommy!" Jackie yelled. "Hi baby!" I said, hugging her. "Can I see! Can I see!" She yelled, running to Ashton. Ashton smiled, and put the carrier on the table. He took Nicole out, and got down on his knees. "This is your sister, Nicole." He said to Jackie. Jackie smiled.
"My little sugar cube, let's get you to bed." I said. "Shes asleep babe." Ashton said. I looked to the couch, and saw a sleeping Jackie, curled up in a ball. I smiled. "I'll take her to bed." Ashton said. "No, I got it." I replied, picking her up.
"Mommy." Jackie said. "I'm here baby. Go back to sleep." I said. "Okay." She replied, closing her eyes. "I love you baby." I whispered, kissing her head.
"All the girls are asleep." Ashton said. I smiled. "Peace and..." I got cut off by crying. "Spoke too soon." I said, getting up. "Why don't you to to bed babe. I'll get the baby. You need sleep." Ashton said. "Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded. "Okay. I love you." I said. "Love you too babe." Ashton replied.
I walked into Nicole's nursery. "Awe. My poor baby." I said, picking her up, and holding her. Right when I picked her up, she stopped crying. She looked at me with her brown eyes. I took her out into the living room, and just looked at her. "I'm a dad." I whispered. "I'm a dad." I whispered again.
