"Ashton." I said. He looked at me. "Tyler's getting out today." I said. "I know. That's why, we all are staying inside today." He said. I laughed.
Tyler was told that he wouldn't spend seven years. It would only be a few months, because of course, I didn't press charges. If I pressed charges, it would have been a few years.
"Hey." Michael said, wrapping an arm around my waist. "Hi, how'd you sleep?" I asked. "Good, hey listen, Jackie asked me... She asked if Tyler could come here." He said. "Excuse me." I said.
"Hey baby." I said, as I walked into Jackie's room. "Mommy can daddy come here?" She asked. "Baby, I know you want to have him in your life... But I'm sorry honey, he's not going to come here." I said. "But why." She said. "You don't need an explanation. I said no, and that's it." I said. "Mommy! I wanna see him! I wanna see him!" She screamed. "No Jackie!" I said.
There was a knock on the door. "I got it! I yelled, walking to the door. "You like answering doors!" Ashley yelled from the kitchen. I laughed.
"What are you doing here." I said, coldly. "Is, Ashley here?" He asked. "Why. Why do you wanna see her?" I asked. "Michael, who's at the door?" Ashley asked. She walked into the doorway, holding Nicole. Her eyes froze, and her face grew pale. "W-what are y-you doing here?" She asked. "Came to see you. I really need to talk to you, and Ashton. Or, all of you." He said.
"Calum!" Ashley yelled. Cal came out of the kitchen. "Make sure Jackie doesn't come out here." She said. He nodded. He looked at Tyler. "Gross." He said. I let out a small laugh.
Ashton and I sat on the couch, across from Tyler. Ashton squeezed my hand. "I just wanted to tell you, both, or, all of you, that I'm sorry for everything I did. I was wrong. And I shouldn't have done the things I did." He said. "Mommy! Lauren..." Jackie started to say. "Hey Jack." Tyler said. "Daddy!" She yelled, jumping into Tyler's arms. Ashton looked away. "Jackie, come here." I said. "Mommy you said he wasn't coming." She said. "Well, I didn't think he would." I said. "Ashton isn't my real daddy." She said. I looked to Ashton, and he got up. "Im gonna go for a walk." He said. "Ashton." I said. "Ash, not now. Not yet. Let me cool down." He said, walking out the door.
"He isn't back yet Mikey. What am I gonna do?" I asked, pacing around the room. "Calm down. He's probably just letting off steam." He said. "The only thing to be worried about, is... Never mind." He said. "No, no. Finish." I said. "Ash, I don't think..." "Finished the sentence." I said. "You only have to worry about, is how he deals with it. Sometimes he gets drunk. Others... He... Takes it out on... Girls." He said. My heart sunk.
Fifteen shots. Is that how many I had? Who cares. "Nother one!" I yelled at the bartender. "Make that four." I said. Four shots were placed in front of me. One. Two. Three. Four.
It's three in the morning. Ashton still isn't home. "Michael." I said. "Yea." He said. "I'm really worried." I said. "I know. Just try and sleep." He said. I got up, and walked to my dresser. I took the diamond ring that is on my finger off. "Night Michael." I said. "Goodnight. Don't worry. I'm sure he's fine." He said.
It's twelve in the afternoon. Ashton still isn't home. All of a sudden, the door swung open. "Hey." Ashton said. I ignored him. "Jackie, lunch." I said, putting a sandwich on the table. "Okay, Nikki, now you eat." I said, taking baby food from the cabinet. "Yummy yummy yummy." I said, feeding her. "So you're just gonna ignore me?" Ashton asked. "Do you hear something Nikki?" I asked. "Come on ash." He said. "You tell daddy that he's an adult and shouldn't have been out all night." I said in a baby voice. "Come on babe." He said.
"Jackie, lunch! Let's go!" I yelled. "Lauren, finish your homework." I said. "I know! I'm trying!" She yelled. "Do you need help?" I asked. "No, I got it." She replied.
"Would you tell me why your ignoring me?" I asked. "Dude. It's obvious. She literally got an hour of sleep last night. She was worried about you." Mikey said. "I'm gonna go for a little walk. Watch them please." Ashley said. Michael nodded.
"I agree with Ashley on this one ash." Calum said. "You need to take some responsibility." He said. I looked down. "Mommys mad at you." Jackie said. "I know." I replied. "She said she feels like shes raising another child." She said. "I know." I replied.
"Babe." I said, walking into the bedroom. "Oh, hey ash. When did you get home?" She asked. I sighed. "Ashley, I know I'm acting like a child." I said. "Child? Oh your way past a child. You're just being you. Which I don't mind. But when you're out all night, and come home at twelve in the afternoon, it's upsetting, and it makes me feel like I did this. Like you leaving was my fault." She said. "I know. Mikey told me you only got an hour of sleep last night." I said. She nodded. "Baby, I am so sorry." I said. She smiled, and played with her ring. "Babe, this ring, on this finger, says that we won't leave each other." She said. I smiled, and cuddled next to her.
