"Jackie, clean this up." I said, walking over her blankets, and pillows. Of course, she slept on the couch last night, due to Michael and Luke sleeping over. "You're standing there. you do it." She snapped. "Excuse me." I said. "You heard me." She said. "Pick them up. Now." I said, getting angry. "No. I'm not picking them up." She said. "Jaclyn Rose Green, do it now." I said. "No! Do it yourself if you want it clean!" She yelled, stomping into her room. "You better stay in there for the rest of the night until dad comes home!" I yelled. "Plan on it!" She yelled back.
"Alright. Center pieces." Lauren said, showing me a book of flowers. "Hm." I said. "Where's Jackie?" She asked. "In her room. She has an attitude." I said. "Oh." She replied. Jackie came out of her room, and into the kitchen. "I thought I told you to stay in your room." I said. "I'm getting food." She snapped, slamming the cabinet. "Hey!" I yelled, getting up. "You do not slam things in this house!" I yelled. "I'll slam things all I want!" She yelled. "That's it. I've had enough!" I yelled, picking up the phone.
"Ashton." I said. "what's wrong?" He asked. "You need to talk to your daughter." I said. "Nicole?" He asked. "Jaclyn." I said. "What now?" He asked. "She's acting up again. I swear, she thinks she's seventeen." I said. He sighed. "Alright. I'm in the car now. I'll be home in a few." He replied.
"Lady bug." I said, entering Jackie's room. "What dad." She snapped. "Listen, I know you want to be older, but you're only six." I said. "So? Maybe I want to be the oldest." She said. "You are the oldest." I said. "No. Lauren's here. She's the oldest." She replied, sinking down in her bed. I sighed, and sat down next to her. "Jackie, Lauren is my sister. Not yours. You're the older sister. Nicole is one. You're six." I said.
"But still. Molly said she gets away with being mean." She said. "Well Molly isn't a good person on you." I replied. "How dare you say that." She yelled. "Don't raise your voice." I said. "No! You said she wasn't a good person!" She yelled. I sighed. "Stay in here. I don't want you out of this room, until I or mum calls you out, understood." I said. "Sure." She replied.
There was a knock on the door, while we were eating dinner. "I got it. Don't worry." I said, getting up. I walked to the door, hearing laughter behind me. I shook my head, and opened the door. "Mrs. Irwin." I said. "Is my son here?" She asked, stepping inside. "Come on in." I said, sarcastically. "Mum!" Lauren yelled, running to Mrs. Irwin. "Ashton, Harry is outside." She said. Ashton's mom and I aren't on good terms. When we first met, it was all good, but then... When she found out I was pregnant, she kind of... hated me.
"So, she just like, barged into your house?" Calum asked. "Yeah. Without a hi. Nothing. Just pushed me away." I replied, sitting down on the couch. "Here's the cookies." Kyla said, setting down a tray of cookies. Calum pulled her onto his lap, and kissed her cheek. I was a little jealous of them. Calum was actually the one person in the band I liked, before Ashton. So, seeing this... kind of makes me jealous.
"So, Ashley, you're the first one to know this." Calum said. I looked at him funny. "So, we have some news." He said. Are they finally getting married? Are they finally moving out? "Kyla's pregnant." He said. All my walls came crashing down. "Oh. W-wow. That's great." I stuttered. "Congratulations." I said, hugging her. "Thanks. Found out last week." She said. "That's great." I said.
