"Tell me what happened." I said, sitting on the guest bed. Rachel sighed. "He came home, drunk out of his mind. Said things to Aunt Renee about me, and how I should be punished, for have such bad behavior. When Aunt Ren said no, he ran up the stairs, and kicked the door down..." She sighed. "He started to... Say some things to me. Saying I'm nothing to the family. How mom died, because she was fed up with me." She said. I gasped. "When I told him to stop saying things like that, he got mad. He... Slapped me across the face, and started to beat me." She said. I grew angry. "I got away, and ran into the bathroom. I took the key from the side table, and locked the door. He was banging on the door. Telling me he will finish the job." She said. "I waited until he was gone, and called you. I didn't feel safe. I still don't." She said. "Rachel, you're safe here. This is the safest place you can be. Security surround every part of the house. You are safe. But Aunt Ren's boyfriend. Don't know about that." I said.
I knocked on Renee's door. She opened the door, with a smile. "Ashley, what brings you here?" She asked. "Im here to talk to Wyatt." I said. "Oh, alright." She replied.
"Babe. Ashley, Vanessa's daughter is here to see you." She said. Vanessa was my mother. "Oh." He replied. "Wyatt." I said. He motioned for me to sit down.
"I understand my sister, Rachel-" "oh, that slut is your sister. She deserved everything she got in this house." He snapped. "Excuse me, but my sister is not a slut. She is a great kid, who happens to hang out with the wrong crowd, but she is a very good kid." I said. He stood up. I now smelt the alcohol on his body.
I opened the front door to the house, with bruises and red marks all over my face. Thank god he didn't touch my stomach. But I know ashton will flip, once he sees me. And I don't think I can go unnoticed.
"Ashley. What the hell happened to you! Who did this!" Ashton yelled. "I just want to sit down." I said. "Ashley, tell me who did this." He said.
"Y... Whoa." Michael said, walking in. "What happened?" He asked. "Bad day?" I responded. "John!" Ashton yelled. John came walking out. "What happened?" He asked.
Ashton was furious. His body language said it all. "I'm killing him." He said. "Ashton!" I yelled. "Don't. Don't stop me." He snapped. "I was going to say... Take John with you." I said.
I banged on the door. "Where's wyatt." I said. "Kitchen." The woman replied. I opened the door, pushing my way past. In a chair at the table, was a man with dark hair, and brown eyes. He looked about my height.
"You Wyatt." I said. He nodded, with a smirk. "You touched my fiancé. You touched her sister." I said. "Ah, so you're the boyfriend." He said. "Sure as hell am." I replied. He smirked.
Ashton and John came home about three hours later, not one scratch on their face. "Dada!" Nicole yelled, running to Ashton. He picked her up, and held her. "It's all taken care of." He said. I smiled.
"Dada." Nicole said. I picked her up. "Does my baby girl want me to tuck her in." I said. She nodded, and rubbed her eyes. "Alright. Let's go say night to everyone." I said.
We walked into our bedroom, Ashley laying down on the bed, her face bruised and scratched, and her glasses on. She looked up from her book, and smiled. "Someone's sleepy." She said. Nicole nodded. "Give mommy kisses." I said. Nicole sat in Ashley's arms, and she kissed Nicole.
"Goodnight baby girl." I said, kissing Nicole's head. "Gewnig dada." Nicole said. I smiled, and kissed her head one last time, before walking out.
"Lights out." I said to Jackie. She sighed. "Dad." She said. "Yeah." "What happened to mom?" She asked. "She was... Hit." I replied. She gasped. "I don't think mum wants you to worry. So why do you go to sleep." I said. She nodded, and I kissed her head. "Love you dad." She said. That's the first time she said that. "Love you too ladybug." I replied.
"Laur, lights out." I said. "Okay." She replied. "Hey, you know how Harry is living with mum?" She asked. I nodded. "Why can't he come live here?" She asked. "We don't have space." I replied. "I miss him ash." She said. "I know. I do too. But hey, we will find a bigger, better place." I said. She nodded. "Alright. I'll see you in the morning." I said. She nodded.
