"Lauren, no, I told you to watch the girls, not give them ice cream." I sighed. "Okay, in my defense, Jackie ran to the freezer, before I could catch her." Lauren replied. I sighed. "Did you and Rachel do your homework?" I asked. She nodded. "Did Jackie do hers too?" I asked. She nodded. "Okay. Let me start dinner. Did Ashton come home yet?" I asked. "He fell asleep. He's in the room. He said it was a busy day at the studio." She said. "Okay. Chinese food sound good? I don't feel like cooking." I said. "That's fine." She replied.
"Hi, can I have four orders of Boneless spare ribs? And fried rice please." I said. "Anything else?" The woman asked. "No that's it." I replied. "Twelve seventy five." She said. I nodded, and gave her my credit card.
"Fancy seeing you here." Someone said. I turned around, seeing Andrew, the guy from college. "Oh. Andrew. Hi." I sighed. "Someone's happy to see an old friend." He sarcastically said. I rolled my eyes. "I would be more thrilled if you didn't kiss me in college, when you clearly knew I had a boyfriend." I said.
"I see you're pregnant." He said. "Five months." I said. "Congrats. Your daughter must be so happy." He said. "Yeah. They both are." I said. "You have more?" He asked. I nodded. "I have a one year old, a seven year old, and a little boy on the way." I said. He nodded.
"I would like to catch up with you sometime." He said, taking my hand in his. "Yeah, well, um, I have a house of kids and men to feed." I said, taking my hand back. He frowned.
"Green." The woman said. "It was good to see you, Andrew." I said, grabbing my food at walking out the Chinese food restaurant.
"Dad, look at this." Jackie said, picking up Nicole, and swinging her. "Jaclyn Rose. Put your sister down." I sighed. "Fine. You're no fun." She said. "I am fun." I said. She shook her head.
"Where's mom? I'm hungry." Jackie said. I shrugged. "Hey dad, remember the names you used to call me?" She asked. I smiled, and nodded. "Bugger. Ladybug. Baby girl." I said. "What happened to them?" She asked. I shrugged. "I like ladybug." She said. "Alright, ladybug." I said. She smiled, and sat on my lap.
"I'm back! I'm back!" Ashley yelled, stumbling through the door. "Let me help you." I said, taking the food from her. "I'll get the plates." Michael said. "Thanks." She huffed. "No problem babe." Michael said.
Calum walked in with Kyla. "Six months pregnant. I hate it. I can't see my damn feet." Kayla yelled. I laughed. "I feel your pain!" Ashley yelled. "It's torture." Kyla said. I laughed. "Oh shut up irwin. You try holing a baby inside of you." She said. "It's hell." Ashley said. "And hurts like hell for me. Thanks to my hand being squeezed." I said. "Um, mine too!" Michael joined in.
Michael took his Chinese food, and sat on the couch, next got Brook. They're sharing food, and laughing. My god, I wish I could go back to those times.
"Livvy! I heard Luke yell. I saw Livvy run inside, Lauren following her, and Luke chasing them. "Slow down!" Ashley yelled. "Ashy. Tell them to give me my keys back." Luke whined. I laughed. "Girls, give me his keys." Ashley said. Livvy smirked, and handed her the keys. "Now, you're not getting them back Lucas." She said.
Luke ran to Ashley, but she put her hand up. "You're going to assault a pregnant woman? Lucas Robert Hemmings, how would your mother feel?" Ashley said. I laughed, and put my arm around Ashley's waist.
"So, remember how when we were younger... And we... Promised each other something?" I asked ashton. He nodded. "What if... I don't know, one of us broke a promise." I said. "Depends on which one." He said. "Um, it's pretty major." I said.
"I know, Ash." He said. "You do?" I asked. He nodded. "Kyla told me." He said. "I'm sorry baby. I really am." I said. "As long as we can get through it, I know it's okay." He said. "See, this is why I love you." I said. He smiled, and kissed my nose.
