“Wait,” Christie said after Bobby finished Sam and Dean’s story, “John really did that to them?” she asked, fumbling with Dean’s necklace in her hands, “He raised them into this? And left Dean alone with Sam for weeks on end?”
“He was set on finding the demon that killed his wife,” Bobby said, not looking up from his tough grounding of the pale blue stone.
“But they were so young!” Christie protested
“What about you, huh? You’re taking all this monster, demon stuff pretty well,” Bobby commented, glancing up at Christie.
“I saw my mom murdered by a vampire,” Christie said simply.
“And Dean watched his mom burn on the ceiling of his brother’s nursery. Your view on the world changes doesn’t it?”
Christie looked down that the necklace in between her fingers and whispered, “I guess so,”
She took the necklace and put it over her head and around her neck. Bobby pull a book from one of his shelves and flipped through it as Christie leaned back in her chair.
“I’m gunna have to go get some stuff,” Bobby said, shutting the book in his hand causing Christie to jump slightly.
“Can I go with you?” Christie asked, sitting up.
“Think you can manage, uh, your condition?”
“I’ll be fine,” Christie reassured.
“Condition?” Derek asked, coming down the stairs
“Nothing,” Christie said, looking at him, “Look um, Derek right? Are you coming with us or not,”
“Where are we going?” Derek asked, walking into the living room and standing next to Christie.
“Bobby needs some stuff for a potion or whatever,” Derek gave Christie a confused look. Christie sighed and turned to him, “Look, I get bitten by a mermaid and now I’m turning into a fish alright? And if I don’t drink that Aquamarine,” Christie said, pointing to the blue stone, “I’ll start having a craving for people!”
“Right,” Derek said softly, “Then, lets go,”
Just as Cas had taken Christie away, from behind Sam and Dean, the door busted open.
“Freeze!” a male voice shouted.
Sam and Dean slowly turned around and lifted their hands above their heads. There were at least five police officers walking through the doorway.
“Problem, Officers?” Dean smirked.
“Dean,” Sam quietly scolded.
“What did we do?” Dean asks.
“Where is she?” one of the cops asked firmly, his gun pointed directly at Dean.
“Who?” Dean asked.
“Christina Levi!” he said loudly.
“Oh um, no idea,”
“Turn around,” an officer said, stepping up towards Sam and Dean. They hesitantly did as they were asked. Two of the officers handcuffed them, and they were forcefully taken outside, into two separate squad cars.
“Damn it,” Dean muttered, resting his head on the car window.
“What the hell is this?” Christie asked, picking an herb in front of her. Bobby had brought Christie and Derek to a store, on the outskirts of town, that sold different herbs and the like.
“Thats wolfsbane,” Derek said, coming up beside her, “It’s poisonous,”
“Shit,” Christie mumbled, dropping it immediately. “If you eat it,” Derek added, walking away.
“Thanks a lot,” Christie mumbled, continuing to look at all the weird flowers and jars of unknown substances.
Christie walks deeper into the the store, fumbling with some of the weird and odd things around her. She heard a ringing noise from the front of the store but ignored it, as it was only a couple of people entering. Christie picked another odd looking herb and turned towards Derek.
“Hey Derek, what is-,” she started to ask, but was interrupted.
“Excuse me miss?” asked a deep voice from behind her. Christie turned around to see two police officers in front of her.
“Yes?” Christie asked trying to keep calm.
“Are you Christina Levi?” asked the officer on the left. Christie froze, she didn’t know what to say or do. “Um,” was the only sound she managed to get out of her mouth. “You’re coming with us,” the officer on the right said, grabbing her arm.
“Bobby,” Christie shrieked, as the two officers started to tug her out of the store.
