Bella is a really great girl, I think we will be great friends. I already consider her as my friend. But I'm actually really worried about her, I don't know what she have written in her diary. What if it's something really personal and then the person who took it might tell everyone. That would be horrible. As her friend, I can't even stand the thought of her being hurt.
"Luke can you repeat what I just said?" My chemistry teacher asked me giving me a glare. She is the most evil teacher I've ever had, and it's my first time having her. That's sums it up pretty good. "Luke! Are you listening to me?" Miss. Quinn yelled at me, making me snap out of my thoughts about her.
"Yeah, why?" I gave her my biggest grin. Bella laughed from the table behind me. I almost forgot she is in the same class as me again. We actually only have two classes together, gym and chemistry.
"Don't make me send you to the principal on your first day. Now listen and behave." She snapped at me and her eyes went to Bella. "Now for you Bella, shut up and listen." She said and the class gasped. I saw a boy a few rows above me, he had his phone in his hand, smirking. I already knew what was about to happen. I smirked myself.
"Psst, Luke!" Bella whisper, yelled as the devil turned around to the blackboard. I turned around to look at her, her smile was wide and her eyes sparkled. I have to admit that she really is pretty, but I don't think anything will happen between us, ever. I gave her a nod to go on and she giggled quietly.
"You're a genius, we have been looking for reasons to get Miss. Quinn. Finally we have one. Thank you." She smiled and I gave her my thumps up and turned to write down what Miss. Quinn wrote on the blackboard.
I walked with Bella to the cafeteria, talking about how to get miss. Quinn fired for treating us badly and being bad teacher. When we got to the cafeteria, everyone stopped talking and started at Bella. I looked over at her and she was just as confused as me. Suddenly she got a unreadable look on her face, yet I didn't understand a shit.
"Scar face!" A girl yelled, then the chaos began. People yelling things and someone threw her diary at her. She didn't pick it up, she just ran out of the cafeteria. I picked it up and ran after her.
"Bella!" I yelled after her as she ran inside the girl bathroom. I stood outside for a moment thinking about what to do, then I finally walked inside. I didn't hear a single noise. "Bella, I know you're here." I signed and knocked on the only locked door. "Please open up." I said and meant it in so many ways.
"It's horrible, Luke." She cried as she opened the door. She sat on the toilet with her arms wrapped around her legs. "Why did I have to be so stupid?" She cried harder and I pulled her I for a hug. We sat on the floor with the door once again locked so no one could get to us.
"I know darling, but I will be with you throe everything and I won't let then hurt you." I whispered and kissed her forehead. "Do you want to talk about it?" I asked and I felt her head nod against my chest.
"I've been writing in the diary since I was eight years old, when I first started writing it my life was a mess. My father used to hurt my mother and I wanted to let it all out. I was smart enough to understand what was happening to her.
After a while I stopped writing, but then I started writing it again when I was fourteen. That's when my father started to abuse me too, that's also when I started cutting. I stopped tho after two years. I tried to kill myself once, but it didn't end how u wanted it to.
Things got bad and my mother and I was to scared to tell anyone. But then one of our neighbours heard what was going on and called the police. My father is still in jail and in living with my mother and her boyfriend. I'm always having the dairy with me, because I feel safer with it. Now I realise that it's stupid and I regret it so much. I regret writing it and I regret everything."
She let out a long breath and looked up at me. I stared down at her with wide eyes, not sure what to say. She signed and started talking again.
"I know why may not want to be around me anymore and I understand it. You can leave if you want." She said and more tears rolled down her cheeks. I stared at her for a moment before rolling my eyes.
"I won't leave you just because you had a bad past, at some point in everyone's lives they're having a hard time, someone may have a harder time then others. But even if someone is having a hard time or something, their friends shouldn't stop being friends with them. That just shows how fake the friends are, and I'm not one of those." I told her and she hugged me tighter, whispering a "thank you" in my ear. I responded by pulling her closer to me if that's even impossible.
"You're a really good friend, Luke."
