7. The First (REAL) Conversation - Brielle
There he was.
I could see him pushing through fans and walking my way. I wanted to fix my hair and quickly check my makeup, but my eyes locked in on his. He looked like he had a mission to accomplish.
Before I knew it, he was right in front of me, our eyes still locked together.
"Brielle." he said.
"Ricky." I replied.
"I...I have so much to say, but so little time."
"Just say whatever you want to say, Ricky. I'm listening."
"I...uh...I've been having these dreams."
I felt like fainting. It all made sense -- how else would he have known my name!?
"Anyways," he continued. "I see you in all of them. You're just...there. And you look beautiful, and I always want to kiss you, but I can't. Because I'm afraid you'll leave the room."
"Oh, my god. I can't believe it. I...I've been having the exact same dream. And I always wait for you to kiss me. But you always leave and I feel--"
He placed his gentle hands on my shoulders and gazed into my eyes. He slowly stroked my cheek, and for a moment, I thought he would kiss me. But instead he just smiled and let go.
"I'm glad I got to meet you, Brielle."
"You too, Ricky."
