1. The Dreams - Brielle
The room was pitch dark except for a single weak candle. The air smelled of roses and candy. I took a deep breath. This was my eighth time in this place, and I knew exactly what was going to happen. I turned around and waited until he emerged. His perfect golden hair illuminated the room, and slowly his body started to show. First his crisp brown eyes, then his nose and perfect lips. Then his amazingly amazing broad shoulders and and hot six pack and slowly down to his feet.
He took a step forward, his eyes playful yet serious. He examined me with love and interest. After what seemed like forever, he whispered softly, "Hello Brielle."
My stomach produced millions of butterflies as I replayed those two words in my mind many times. Soon, I responded in the same soft whisper, "Hello Ricky."
He bit his bottom lip and leaned in. I leaned in as well, and felt his tense breath. "It's okay," I said kindly. "I don't bite." Ricky sighed. "I can't do this, Brielle. Maybe tomorrow."
I sighed and watched him turn around. He stopped halfway and looked at me. "Wake up, Brielle. It's time to go to school." and left.
I opened my eyes at once. Above me was the ceiling, with posters of Ricky Dillon, the internet sensation. I always liked to wake up to see his face, for it always got me in an amazing mood. I stretched. "Good morning, Ricky." I said, and rolled out of bed.
I'd had been having the same dream over and over again for the past eight days, with Ricky coming out to see me and then almost kissing me, but rejecting me and postponing it to tomorrow. I chewed the insides of my cheek and proceeded to do myr normal morning routine.
