7. Maci and Marlee
Maci didn't have any classes for the week as she was on leave so she was spending a holiday with Marlee and was taking her out of state to Florida for a few days with her family. The flight was 3 hours long and it was Marlee's first time on a plane so they were making this trip count.
They drove to Denver airport and the flight even left earlier so they would get extra time in Orlando. The flight was in the early morning so thy could check into their hotel in one of the Disney World resort hotels before going to the Magic Kingdom. Marlee slept the whole flight and so did all of the family just so they would be completely rested for the day ahead. They got to the hotel after a quick route through baggage claim and passport control and all got changed as Florida climate was much different to Colorado. Maci dressed Marlee in a pink sundress and converse and put her brown curls in a topknot before she changed into a white cami, shorts and matching converse putting her blond curls into a bun as well. She grabbed both of their pairs of aviator sunglasses and headed out to meet her family in the lobby.
"You ready Miss Marlee?" George Bracken asked his granddaughter. "Yea!" Marlee squealed laughing at her grandpa. Mackenzie carried Marlee to the car they rented to drive to the park and Maci drove the short journey to the Magic Kingdom parking lot. After validating tickets and hopping on the boat, they arrived at the park. "Remember when we brought you here when you were 11?" Lynda asked Maci. "It was great, I remember it so well. Mackenzie was 10 and cried when she saw Minnie mouse!" Maci laughed. "Shut up!" Mackenzie said pushing her sister. "Where shall we go first?" George asked. "We should get Marlee one of those princess makeovers!" Maci said. "She'd look so cute. Let's go find the place." Lynda said, pulling her husband towards Cinderella castle.
Marlee got made into Snow White and she looked absolutely adorable. They headed to take pictures in front of the castle when the makeover was done before heading to the rides. They went on all the kid safe rides before Maci and Mackenzie went of to the real roller coasters for a while. "How does it feel having Marlee here with you?" Mackenzie asked in the line for thunder mountain. "Its great, I'd never have been able to do this wit Tom." Maci said. "Its been great seeing you so happy Mace. You should have brought along Tyler." Mackenzie said. "He was busy, couldn't get the time of work." Maci said. "Maybe next time hey. On a few years who knows what will be ahead. You might have a new baby." Mackenzie joked. "Doubt it. I wanna be married next time. Do it right when it comes to your future Mack. Don't get pregnant as a teen." Maci said. "You've done great with Marlee. Your a role model for teen moms, Mace. You've done it alone and you've managed. I look up to you sis." Mackenzie said making Maci tear up slightly. "Thanks, that makes me feel good." Maci said. She was so happy her sister said that and so happy she had done a good job with Marlee.
