Blood was everywhere, Johnny's hands were shaking as he held onto the slippery needle that was now covered in bright red blood, Mila's blood. Mila was sobbing furiously, her arm shaking in the process. "Shit, are you okay?" Johnny said, "It couldn't be helped Johnny" Mila said, he knew that, but he could stand to have Mila crying, this was nerve racking for him. But thankfully the wound was stitched up, Johnny got some extra rags and wet them, carefully placing them on Mila's stitched up would, she flinched in pain. "This sucks for me".
"Yeah, again i'm sorry about what happened".
"There's no need to apologies, even if you hadn't gone up to the palace, nothing would've changed... Well i might be dead because you wouldn't have known that he was coming". She was right, there was no point of apologizing, but everything was his fault, if he hadn't landed on the haystack and bumped into her mother, then they wouldn't be here right now. Johnny was snapped out of his thoughts as Mila spoke, "you have to get out of here before he comes back, you shot him in the ear Johnny, he's never going to forget that". Johnny's heart sank, she was right, and even though it pains him to leave her, he knew that he was in deep trouble with Sam and he had to get out of here. "I know, i have to find a way to get out of here, i heard that they had put the town into lock down though".
"They still have the ports open, but they would be checking cargo stocks to see if you are trying to get away".
"Okay, i think i know where you're talking about, i can get there".
"I'll take you, you can't go alone, i can help you get pass the guards".
Johnny sighed, he knew that he really didn't want to leave her side. "They would be unloading tonight, so we need to get there before the boats so you can be first on". Mila said, Johnny smiled, "you don't have to do this Mila, i can do it on my own".
"I want to see you leave, so i know that you're okay".
Johnny smiled, he knew that she was desperate to keep him safe, but it was his turn to keep her safe.
