Chapter 1: Photoshoot
"Ok, Tyde? Can you move this set over here? We have another group coming in today. Huge Aussie band, they're like really famous and we don't want to mess this up." Cynthia said. She was the other photographer, she usually did the really famous people. And she was a bitch.
"Yeah, ok whatever. Chris? We need to move it over here. Sorry about it." Tyde, my photographer, said.
"No problem. Just tell me where to go." He nods, and starts to pack up everything and move. While he was doing that, I went over to Cynthia.
"What's the name of that Aussie band?" I asked. She shrugged.
"I don't know, something to do with summer. Now get back to work, we don't want them to gt scared away from your clinginess. God."
"Well, we don't want them to get scared from your bitchiness." I replied. Her face reddened with anger. I just giggled, and walked back to Tyde.
"What did you do?" Ty asked.
"Just gave her a taste of her own medicine." I said, shrugging. Ty just chuckled and continued his work. I just stood back and watched. I would have helped but he told me not to, and let the professionals do it. I decided not to argue.
"Ok, they're gonna be here in 30, hurry up!" Cynthia yelled. She was talking to the people setting up the background. I rolled my eyes. Who is this 'Aussie' band? They must be famous because the last time she was like this was for One Direction. That was a big deal.
"Who is this Aus-" I get cut off by Cynthia.
"Welcome, boys! Come, sit. We'll be ready in a minute." She says, leading 4 very tall boys. Their backs were to me so I couldn't really see them. They sat down right in front of me.
"Christina! C'mon we need to get this done today!" Tyde yelled. I nodded.
"Kk, I'm coming!" I said, putting my phone in my purse then running over where stood, waiting. One of the boys turned around when they heard me talk, and his eyes widened. I furrowed my eyebrows at him, but let it go. I've never seen him before in my life. He got the attention of the other 3 boys, but when they turned around I was too busy focusing on my posing and what Ty was saying to look at them.
"Welcome, boys! Come, sit. We'll be ready in a minute." A perky-looking girl said. We sat down and someone behind yelled.
"Christina! C'mon we need to get this done today!" A whole lot of emotions and feelings hit me all at once. I knew a girl named Christina. She was most talented, beautif- Calum cut me off.
"Dude, isn't that the girl you told us about in 2011?" He said, motioning behind us. I looked and my heart stopped. I got all choked up and couldn't speak.
"Ash? You alright, man?" Michael asked. I shook my head.
"Y-Yeah, that's her." I said, barely breathing. She looked on top of the world. She was doing the thing she loved, and you could tell. She posed, and her smile reached her eyes. She didn't seem to see me, or the other boys. But, she looked amazing. Especially in the outfit she was wearing.
"Why don't you go say hi? If you don't then I will." Michael said, eyeing her.
"I can't go up to her!" I said, getting angry and jealous at him eyeing her like she was a piece of meat.
"Then I will." He got up just as she got on a break. He walked up to her and I watched. She started to talk to him then laughed at something he said. Jealousy was forming in the pit of my stomach. Then the worst thing happened. She looked over to us and we made eye contact. She stopped laughing and smiling. The color drained from her face and, even with her make-up, her face paled. She gulped and told Michael and walked off. I watched as she practically ran to the bathroom. Michael came back to sat down.
"How'd it go." I muttered.
"Well, pretty good, then she looked like she saw a ghost and went to the bathroom." He shrugged. I sigh and put my head in my hands. Why did this happen?
He's here. He's fucking here. In the same building, breathing the same air. I'm in the bathroom right now, hyperventilating in front of the mirror. I should have known. The 'Aussie' band was indeed 5 Seconds of Summer. I refused the tears because of my make-up. And he doesn't deserve to see me cry one single tear. I've cried too many times because of that boy. Instead, I take a deep breathe and wake out of the bathroom, avoiding eye contact. I go straight to Ty.
"Where did you go?" He asked.
"I had an emergency. It's fine now." I assured him. "What are we doing next?"
"Oh, we're done, but we aren't gonna be able to get out of this building."
"Why?" I asked.
"Because of the fangirls out there. They're blocking the entrance." He said, sitting down on a chair.
"Fuck." I muttered.
"I know right." He agreed. I sighed and turned around. I accidently caught Ashton's eye, and he was looking at me. I didn't know what to do but stare back. I finally turned away and sat on the floor, my back to them.
"5 Seconds of Summer? We're ready." Cynthia said, fixing her make-up. I rolled my eyes. She does this every time a band or boyband comes in. She even turned around to unbutton a couple of buttons o her shirt. I shake my head, and she saw.
"What? You think you're the only one who can talk to them? Maybe these boys aren't attracted to sluts and don't come running to you." She said to me, waiting for a reply.
"Well, if they aren't attracted to sluts, then why the fuck are you trying?" I said. Her mouth dropped opened. Someone giggled and I look. It was Ashton but he acted like he didn't just laugh.
"Listen here you little slut, I can take your job away just as fast as you can pose. Don't mess with me." She threatened. I laughed in her face.
"Ok, how about you listen here, we both know damn well that you cannot take my job away. Only Ty can do that, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't listen to a bitch like you. So, now if you stop talking to me because I do not need someone telling me how to do my job when they aren't even doing their's right. Not to mention being a fucking stuck up bitch. So, if you'd excuse me, I need to do something that doesn't consist of talking to a whore." I said, walking away leaving her speechless. My phone goes off and I don't pay attention to where I'm going, looking down at my phone. I hit something, and my phone falls out of my hand.
"I'm so sorry!" I said, looking up. But, as soon as I do that the color drains from my face once again.
"It's ok, I wasn't looking where I was going." He said, picking up my phone for me.
"I-I wasn.... thank you." I stutter, as I take my phone. He smiles sadly. Then he does something unbelievable.
He leans in.
