Three days have passed, and I haven't seen or heard anything from Keith. I'll admit I'm a little worried, but only a little. A tiny bit. I mean what could happen? The dude is already dead.
Just as I walked through the front doors of the school, all the lights flicked off. Mind you it was completely dark outside. Some of the pupil screamed, and others fell as they walked into stuff. I was beyond confused - I wasn't scared. I've experienced worst - until I heard a familiar voice coming from the dark beside me.
"Come here," Keith said and grabbed my hand tugging me along. I cold sensation ran through me as I was pulled into the nearest empty classroom. The lights were still off.
"What do you want?" I asked irritated.
"When did you get so snappy?"
"When did you get so ignorant and annoying?" I fired back at ham. Okay that was really bad... Ugh.
"Ouch you hurt my feelings."
"As if you actually have feelings." What's up with my attitude today?
"What's up with your attitude today," Keith asked, saying my exact thoughts.
"That's none of your business!" I snapped, again. Am I on my period or something? "Why did you turned the lights off?"
"Oh that's not my work."
"What do you mean it's not your work?"
"There are others like me on this creepy ass school. Didn't you know that?" He asked. I shook my head no. "Well there is. This school was build on an old abandoned cemetery in the early nineties. A lot of spirits are hiding away in the basement. It's pretty sick if you ask me," Keith said smirking.
"Well I did not ask for that information. I didn't need to know that my school is haunted!" I spat still angry for a reason unknown to me.
He laughed. "Your school is definantly haunted. It has been for many, many, many years."
"I'm leaving now," I said and marched out of the dark, empty classroom. Keith continued to laugh behind me.
I can believe that my school is haunted! All the "people" I see walking around the school grounds I just thought was teachers or students. I didn't think much to it when I first got my "gift", but now I'm not so sure of who's who. Do people think I'm a freak because the people I talk to isn't really there for anyone but me? They probably think I talk to myself. Great! Just fucking great!
"Freak," a girl fake couched as I walked past her in the hall, the others in her group laughing. I hastily walked past them and out the front doors of the school.
School was it for today and now it's weekend! Oh how I love weekends. I can just sit around in my room all day and do nothing productive at all! No one calling me names or shoving me into the lockers. Oh the luxury of those two days. *Dreamy sigh*
"Come on freak!" Well maybe except the asshole I dare to call my twin. I groaned and walked to him.
"Whats up dickhead?" I asked in a fake cherry voice. He glared at me and I smiled innocently.
"You have to come with me to practice," he said and grabbed my arms pulling me along.
"Why?" I whined like a little child, tripping slightly over my own feet as he walked too fast for me to keep up.
"Because moms not home and because I say so."
"You can't tell me what to do! Besides, what has mom to do with this?"
"I can, and I will!" He said firmly, and continued to pull me along to the fields.
"You're so annoying!" I yelled at him when I was sat on the seats at the side of the field where the players usually sit.
"I hate you too, babe!" He yelled back at me from where he was as the goalie. I gagged when he called me babe.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" The star player of the team came up in front of me. I rolled me eyes at him and continued to watch Drew save all the balls from hitting the net. "Hey freak, I'm talking to you!" I rolled my eyes again and finally looked at him. Some would say he's attractive. He is, but he's not my type.
"What?" I asked.
"And the freak speaks!" He cheered and laughed along with his friends. I rolled my eyes and sighed. If he doesn't disappear soon, my eyes are gonna roll out of my skull. Grr, I hate him more than I hate my brother. 'Nuff said.
