Telekinibabe wove ahead in a comet-like transport as he zoomed to the NoHead base. The other S.M.S.B. members had claimed victory over the NoHeads and refused to come with him. Grimly, Telekinibabe zoomed in through the doorway and across a track. Behind him was a black patch indicating where the Rocket control base once was. I can't expect much resistance now, he thought as he landed in the next room--the hangar where the first fight started.
He was wrong. Dozens of Rockets pointed their guns at him. However, Telekinibabe realized there was a missile connected to the ceiling and used his telekinesis to grab it. Then he slammed it on the ground hard, causing a giant explosion. Nearly at once, all the Rockets died out, and Telekinibabe went flying toward a wall.
Upon landing, he was greeted by two falling anvils and a built-in probe, but easily defeated these obstacles. But then he felt his legs separate, and looked down. The ground was parting neatly under him. Left with no choice, Telekinibabe jumped in.
Telekinibabe looked ahead at the dimly-lit room he was in. On three sides were dead ends, but ahead was a tunnel. As he rushed inside, he was unaware Mean King was watching him through a security camera. And then the lights turned on, and a wall lined with razor-sharp spikes dropped in behind him!
Frantically, Telekinibabe ran from the wall as it began to move toward him. He noticed the end of the hallway was close in sight and dove forward. A door closed behind him, trapping the spike wall inside the hall.
Telekinibabe found himself at the edge of a catwalk, right behind a musical bridge. He wondered whether he should cross, but when he found two swords and a remote marked 'R' for Rockets, he knew he had to try. He jumped across the bridge, but when Mean King heard the music he pushed a button that snapped the bridge. Telekinibabe screamed, but then remembered his comet transport and shot up to the ledge in less than a second.
Once atop the ledge, he reached for the weapons, but the case hummed upon contact. Then it disappeared, revealing itself to be an illusion.
Mean King rose in an elevated platform. "So finally we meet, Tyler. For the last time!"
"Not today!" said Telekinibabe, and ignited his sword.
Mean King opened fire on Telekinibabe, but the baby deflected the attack with his sword. He finally aimed a shot back at Mean King, but the NoHead dodged it. He then leaped over and behind his foe, and brought his sword up quickly. Mean King blocked his every move, then lashed out with lightning. Telekinibabe took the hit and slammed into a wall.
Nearly 2,000 miles away, Telekinibabe's physical form awoke with a start.
Barely conscious, Telekinibabe looked up to see his best friend from the S.M.S.B., Lindsay. "It's almost 8:45," she said, rubbing his shoulder vigorously. Telekinibabe got up, and Lindsay left and said something into her comlink. After she left, Telekinibabe dressed and joined the others for a slightly late breakfast.
As they ate, Telekinibabe told Baby Intelligence what he'd seen in the vision. Baby Intelligence said an attack had to be prepared.
